Am I the only one thinking that TNA having a PPV tomorrow night on the 9/11 anniversary is in bad taste?

Not any more in bad taste than NFL running regular season games on 9/11. You can still remember and watch football, wrestling, porn, whatever

I think its fine, football is still played and there is a minute silence before. TNA will probably do the same or have some form of tribute.

They'll have someone sing the national anthem at the start and have a tribute.

No, I do not
further, after reading Gunner's interview about the event I actually think it is kinda the opposite. He sees it as kind of a tribute.

I'm sure TNA 2 Military Veterans Gunner and Jesse Neal, will do something to honor 9/11...
As well as have Christy Hemme sing the national Anthem..

No. Speaking of bad taste, in the first Gulf war the WWF ran a angle where SGT Slaughter turned his back on America and became a Iraq Symphathiser and they changed the iron Sheiks name to something Iraqian (yes the WWF thought it's fans so stupid they wouldn't remember who the iron sheik was).

Christina Aguilera? Maybe not. Micky James?

The only reason I think it's a stupid desicion is that they decided to have a ppv on the same day as the first Sunday of football. I won't even be watching this one for free!

Frankly I'm tired of the 9-11 excuse. People are using it as an excuse to be a wuss!

Yes I think its dumb that TNA is having a ppv on 9/11. Why do they think they are gonna get ppl to buy a ppv opening weekend of the nfl they should have waited until next week. Crimson, Gunner and Jesse Neal have all served in the military and they are fine with it. When you stop living the american dream you let the terrorists win (coming from a Canadian). If it was a wwe ppv they would do a tribute to the troops and family's and survivors I think it would be nice if they would let rosita talk about loosing her dad in the twin towers that day to remember those lost

No it is not dumb. TNA should still have their PPV and show that moving on from the devastation that is 9/11. TNA would probably do a tribute based off the theme for No Surrender this year.

Honestly they already have a good name there too with "No Surrender" From a marketing standpoint they could easily play off of that

The world dosent stop for 1 event that happened 10 years ago, maybe they shouldnt have ppv's on the anniversary of pearl harbor either right ? They probably would have done it that night if it was a sunday.. Lets all just not go to work cuz of a tagic event happened 10 or 40 years ago

September 11th is nothing more than a date now. Yes there was a tragedy ten years ago.. Now? It's noting more than a day of the year?

Judging by the promo poster it going be a patriotic theme.... As lots of sports is honoring 9/11 somehow this weekend...
