WWE.com posted the following today…

WWE has come to terms on the release of WWE Superstar Kevin Nash as of Monday, Sept. 5, 2011. We wish Kevin the best in all future endeavors.

This was posted on WWE.com then reported on here, so what do you guys think, is this for real or just storyline because if it's legit then I do not see the point for him ever being brought back

Agree, everyone praised his mic work until he tried to cut a promo.... This is just weird to use Nash like this, maybe they want him to come back and wrestle at mania so he can retire.

I'm shocked... I know he can't cut a promo to save his life but I thought they would keep him around to wrestle Punk

Nope. Never. Not once in his career has he been THAT bad. But that's just me.

I'm a Nash fan but his promo's since he's been back have been more shaky then his knees and quads

I am fairly certain that this is just a work
Also I think he is gonna try and cost trip his match with punk, to make him have to quit as COO

And I fucking hate when he yells to the mic all the time. Does he have normal tone at all?

Definitely a work but yeah, dude shouldn't be allowed within 100 feet of a live microphone.

I agree, this is just part of the storyline. Nash will cost HHH the match with CM Punk. Thus making this storyline bigger and more interesting.

The WWE are just using the internet like they should have done years ago! everyone says what they read online is gospel so why not use it to your advantage? Good move i think. blur the lines and mix it up abit! good move!

I would think that it's storyline. It would be kind of odd just to release him in the middle of a storyline .! I'm expecting an attack on Punk or HHH next monday again...

I dont think he gonna cost HHH the match. I can still see a heel turn from HHH, so all I want is Nash to "come back" join HHH and help him beat CM Punk. That would make his heel turn massive, and in the other hand, put CM Punk even more over as a Baby Face. And if he cost HHH the match (and Job as COO), HHH would probably go after him, and who would CM Punk go after?

My thoughts!

Hulk Hogan never used his normal tone back in the 80's so it's old school.

I used to be a Kevin Nash fan, and in some ways I still am, but I agree with the fact he needs to stay off the mic ..... He was awful on Monday!!

It's most certainly a work. Although it was priceless to hear Punk say "best of luck in your future endeavors."

And yea, if they ever need him for a promo again, someone should probably write his lines for him. It just gets worse and worse every week.

When Nash was champ back in 1994, Punk wasn't even old enough to get a driver's license yet! - Classic Punk

I read on the dirtsheets that Nash wont read from the script that he just looks over it and goes off by how he thinks it should. But like I said it was on the dirtsheets so who knows how much of that is true. Sounds like he is reading a script and tries to remember it.

Nash might fired but I can see Super Shredder costing HHH the match.

Triple H will come out on RAW and say "Nash couldn't cut the mustard"

Nash will rock up on TNA iMPACT and say "its a 2-way street"

Update:

Kevin Nash tweeted the following:

"To set the record straight, I passed physical w/ flying colors. Cardiologist was amazed at my lipid profile. Couldn't reach financial terms.

I will not be addressing this matter again. I am moving forward with my life. Cena, it was great having the chance to get to know you."

It is just part of the story, very obvious. Only people WWE can fool is themselves. Didn't need to read the main board to know that Nash firing was part of story line.

Be happy we're not seeing Nash wrestle! Having him in the WWE is bad enough, but hes not wrestling.

- As noted before, Kevin Nash’s “release” that was announced earlier today is all part of what’s happening on TV. The release was announced to play off the major deal that John Laurinaitis signed Nash to on RAW.

The reason for Nash’s exit from the WWE storylines is because Nash has booked a movie role, likely the same one that he is dieting for. Word is that the people behind the movie didn’t want to insure Nash for filming while he was working as a pro wrestler. Nash will likely stay gone until he is done filming the movie. No word yet if this will affect any of his independent dates.

Kevin Nash also wrote the following on Twitter today:

“To set the record straight, I passed physical w/ flying colors. Cardiologist was amazed at my lipid profile. Couldn’t reach financial terms.

I will not be addressing this matter again. I am moving forward with my life. Cena, it was great having the chance to get to know you.”
