Nasty Boy Jerry Sags says the tag team "felt betrayed" by TNA after their brief run at the start of the Hogan/Bischoff era in early 2010. Sags says they were aiming for a long-form program with The Dudleys matching up two generations of tag teams, but says they felt it was "totally mishandled." Asked by reporter Matthew Aaron at the Chicago Comic Con two weekends ago if the Nastys have plans to return to TNA, Saggs said, "I don't think so."

"We sort of felt betrayed there. We went in there and shot a hell of a deal with the Dudleys. I think we could have went off and drawn money for two years in cage matches and street fights, etc.," Sags said very optimistically. "I think it was totally mishandled. And, we were mistreated along with it. That's their bad because we could have done something they're not used to doing - making money. ... I don't think we'll be in TNA."

Saggs also talked about frequently driving past the location where Randy Savage drove off the road at the time of his death in May. Saggs described it as a "knife in your back."

It's good to see that TNA has made some good choices in the last few years, including not subjecting us to a two year series of Nasty Boys vs. Dudley Boys matches. It's funny to me that he is hyping it as "the battle of two generations" but not mentioning that the generations have passed.

Getting rid of the Nasty Boys might be the best decision TNA made in 2010.

HELL! TNA hires Doink The Clown and have him in Immortal. Or Obama. Its TNA after all....any idea is a good idea to them, no matter how illogical or flawed.

I don't think TNA will bring them back thankfully. But they still wasted money on these guys.

I thought Sags was the only one doing the work to make the team look good while they were in TNA. Knobbs couldn't move at all. Overall, they didn't look good at all.

In this day and age of wrestling, I don't think we could really could take a two year feud with any two teams or any two wrestlers.

I never thought Nasty Boys was a good team to begin with, they are not the first name to pop up when talking about tag teams.

Not a big Nasty Boys fan but things may have worked better for them if not all of the old guys were brought in at once. Just have them show up afew months later with how Team 3D never beat them so on and so on. 2 years don't see it happening but a ppv match maybe another being a street fight to end the program.

Maybe a short program with 3D could have worked.. VERY short.
But it wouldn't work in a normal tag team match.. It would have to be street fights, cage matches etc
But thank God TNA didn't make us watch would have been torture

...By collecting the paychecks we get for putting out terrible matches.

Yeah, TNA did the right thing about getting rid of these guys.
