Punk will likely come in at #1 next year. During that grading period to determine thsw year's list Punk wasn't as hot as he is now

It's the Bible of Wrestling PWI is....

It more accurate then other publications and more known....
They based the rankings on Records and such and how one does from July of one year to June of the next.... not listen to the IWC for greater majority which would make it Kayfabe..... it is voted on and determined by writers, not critics...

Fixed.

Even in kayfabe, he should be at least top fifty. He did hold the IWGP Jr. Heavyweight title for an entire year, as well as the Jr. tag titles with Apollo 55 for most of that year.

Kayfabe or not the list is 100% right... it is ranked on the year the person had..... Miz Won The Money in the Bank, Won his first World title, Beat Randy Orton countless times, main evented many PPVs, Had a Program with the Number one face of the company and also was involved with the Rocks and Cena Storyline, Walked out of WM the WWE champion....

I be hard pressed to find someone that had a better more career making year from july 2010 to july 2011.... He went from being in the opening match at WM 26 to winning the main event and Walking out as Champion in 1 calender year.

Really truly the first 5 or 10 is what really matters the rest are basicly ok if they are in the ball park. But number on is the only one that really gets the big complaint and honestly he had a great year, he deserves it any way you look at it.

Oh, okay then. It wasn't that clear, and I assumed you were a Dreamer fan for some reason.

Even if I do find him slightly overrated, Austin Aries doesn't really belong amongst wrestlers of that ilk either. BUT, he didn't exactly have a stellar year... Hopefully, things will be different this year.

On a different note, I'm chuffed Roderick Strong is ranked #13. The booking of his ROH title run was kinda disappointing, and the House of Truth thing is getting silly, but he's been having consistently awesome matches for years now. About time he got some recognition, yo.

Like I said it the Bible they have actual journalist working and writing stories and covering different aspects of wrestling... Even reporting on matches from Indys and International....
Instead have geeks like AR or RC and others who gets feed what they report on internet sites like this one...

After the top 5 it very questionable... usually the top 5 or 10 is the easiest to rank.... usually it the the champions in TNA and WWE and IWGP champion... in this case it after the top 5 i question??

The lists voting is in May or June and added in July or something stupid along these lines. Miz was still WWE Champion whilst this list was finalized so I can see why he is first.

But the further I go down the derper it gets.
Khali near the top 100? You be in a squash match every night and still be better, and hes done fuck all this past year.

Of course it's kayfabe, it doesn't depend on how good a wrestler is, it's how much championships/matches you win. I remember Angelina Love yapping about how Michelle McCool won last year and Angelina said she should have.. despite being out of action for 3 months

Like I said the top 5 is usually on the money....
It is based on title and win and loses and matches...
The only one I question in top 5 is Kane, Edge should had beat out Kane ... As he did have better year beating Kane for the World title going on a impressive PPV win streak up till his retirement...
The rest is Kayfabed to fit the writers prespective......
