Thursday Night IMPACT Wrestling Preview

IMPACT Wrestling has taken over the Thursday Night line up. For three weeks, it has shown that wrestling does matters and the wrestling gets better and better. But when egos spur out of control, it's more than just wrestling for the three count. It's for pride, revenge and most importantly, the right to become the wrestling's World Heavyweight Champion. Olympic gold medalist Kurt Angle has earned the right to have a chance at becoming the next World Heavyweight Champion. However, this Thursday, Kurt Angle will confront the current world champ, Sting one last time in a contract signing for their upcoming match at IMPACT Wrestling's first PPV of the year, Genesis.

And if you thought it couldn't get any better, it does. Mr. Anderson, the man who had no other choice but to resign from a World title #1 contendership match due to Bully Ray, will team up with Samoa Joe to battle it out against their nemeses, Bully Ray and Matt Morgan, in a tag team match.

Besides the World Heavyweight Championship, there seems to be another title with a division that are the exact opposite of world heavyweight material. Nails, Attitude, and in-ring ability is the best way to describe the Knockout's division. And what keeps the knockouts going is the most valuable prize called the Knockout's Championship. One Knockout named Madison Rayne has vowed to do whatever it takes to become the next Knockout's Champion. Even if it involves getting through one of IMPACT wrestling's greatest Knockout, Angelina Love. This Thursday, Madison Rayne will go one on one against old rival, Angelina Love with a special guest referee being the Knockout's Champion, Mickie James.

At the end of last week's IMPACT Wrestling, we witnessed the unfolding of the greatest controversial moment in IMPACT Wrestling's history and who other than to create this controversy than the GM himself, Eric Bischoff. Daniels and Bischoff are a team now and this can only spell trouble for the "phenomenal" AJ Styles. Tune into IMPACT Wrestling at 9/8c to see what Bischoff plans next for AJ Styles.

Episode 4

The shows kicks off from the Richfield coliseum in Richfield, Ohio. Taz and Mike Tenay welcome us to another episode of IMPACT Wrestling! The stage and entrance ramp explode with pyros and fireworks as the fans roar in anticipation.

Bischoff comes out to the ring with microphone in hand. He comes out to more heat than usual. Bischoff says that many of the fans believe that they deserve an answer for why he sided with Daniels. Bischoff says that what the fans witnessed last week at the end of IMPACT wrestling was the beginning of a new era. Bischoff begins to explain and says that the reason why Daniels was ambushing AJ Styles was because of him. He says that ever since he came into this company he detested only AJ Styles and it was because of his stale character that he portrays. However, the fans still have love for AJ Styles. Bischoff says that he doesn’t want someone like AJ Styles to ever be the world champ and he will make sure that it will never happen.
AJ Styles comes out to the ring ready to give Bischoff a peace of his mind. AJ grabs the microphone from a worker and begins to talk. AJ says that Bischoff should have never tried to screw him over. He says the only thing keeping Bischoff safe and unharmed is the fact that Bischoff is still the boss. AJ says that but that doesn’t mean that he’ll let Bischoff do whatever he pleases.
Bischoff laughs and says that he can do whatever he damn pleases because Hogan is on a hiatus and now he’s in charge. Bischoff says that since AJ is out here, he’s going to announce that at Genesis, AJ Styles will go one on one against Christopher Daniels.
AJ Styles seems to be happy with announcement. AJ says that for once, Bischoff is being understandable instead of being a prick. He says that he’s the hardest wrestler in pro wrestling today and when he’s pushed like how Bischoff is pushing him, people see a side of him that has never been brought out.
Bischoff says that he would love to see that side of him instead staring in the eyes of a generic wrestler. Bischoff continues on and says that tonight; AJ Styles will go one on one against Abyss…In a steel cage match! He says that this is a chance for AJ to show his other side. As AJ leaves the ring, Christopher Daniels is shown at the stage ramp staring down AJ. AJ’s and Daniels’ eyes meet as their match is only a couple of days from now.

MCMG vs. Generation ME

The Roode Warning
After a commercial break, we are back with Robert Roode sitting on what appears to be a bar stool. The ring is decorated with pictures of Robert Roode and his Television Championship is displayed in a glass case on a table with bear bottles. Ms. Brooks stands near the table while Roode begins the segment. Next to Roode is another bar stool. Roode says that tonight, he has a segment of his own. He says compared to Dinero’s “Confession with Da Pope”, his segment called “The Roode Warning” blows his out of the water. He says for those who don’t know, last year, with the help of another man, he took tag team wrestling to new heights. He says that he’s proud to announce his guest at this time…James Storm!
James Storm comes out to the ring and grabs a microphone from one of the camera crew. Storm and Roode both shake hands and Storm sits down at the empty bar stool. Roode smiles and says that it ahs been a long time since they’ve seen each other. Roode says that he tried to make him at home with chairs and everything. Roode asks what Storm has been up to lately. Roode begins to insult him by presuming if he had been at the bars everyday. Storm looks on at Roode with a humorless emotion. Storm says that he’s seen what Roode has been up to. He says that ever since he left from Impact Wrestling, Roode has head into a good direction. However, he says that with the good direction he has been acting like a rich snob. He says that “Bobby” should never forget where he came from and that Beer Money was where he was made into a star. Roode says that he never meant to get on the bad side James Storm but he believes that Storm is just a drunk who’s lost his chance to shine a long time ago.
Storm gets up from his chair and stares at Roode as he begins to get up from his chair also. Roode and Storm stair each other down but Roode walks over to the table full of beer bottles and hands a beer bottle to Storm to make him cool down. Storm accepts and Roode grabs one also but instead of drinking the beer, Roode hits Storm with a beer bottle. Roode and Ms. Brooks begin to kick the fallen James Storm. Coming for the rescue, The Pope runs down to the ring to make the save and clears the ring of Roode and Ms. Brooks. The Pope helps up James Storm and he grabs a microphone and walks over to the Television Championship. He says that at Genesis, Robert Roode himself will be in for Rude Awaking. Madison Rayne goes for a dropkick but Love ducks and pushes Rayne into Mickie James. Angelina Love then goes for the Botox Injection but ends up hitting Mickie James with the bicycle kick. After the match, Hebner helps up Mickie James and as Love goes over to Mickie to explain, she pushes Love away from her but Love tries to come back to her and aid her. Because Love was asking for it, Mickie James grabs her and hits her with the Mick Kick. Velvet Sky runs down to aid Love as Mickie James slides out of the ring. What does this mean for Sunday’s Genesis?

Kurt Angle comes out first for the contract signing then Sting comes out with the World Heavyweight Championship on his shoulder. Both men shake hands and begin to sit down for the contract signing. Bischoff places down the contract for both men to sign. Kurt Angle signs and he says that before Sting signs the paper, he wants to ask him if he truly believes that he still has what it takes to do well against him. Kurt Angle says that he has all the respect in the world for Sting but he doesn’t believe at all that Sting is as good as he was 10-20 years ago.
Sting says that Kurt has truly forgotten about how great he is. Sting says that at Genesis, he will not only remind Kurt Angle that he still has it but that he will walk with the World title. He says that he hasn’t fulfilled his mission and that he leaves this ring forever when he says it’s time! Sting grabs the contract and signs it. Sting comes in the ring and looks on at the crowd and holds up his covenant world title. Sting grabs a microphone and begins to talk. Sting says that last Sunday was very special to him. He says that he proved all the naysayers wrong. He says everyone doubted him about beating Kurt Angle. He says that people told him that “Kurt Angle is one of the best pro wrestlers in the world” and”Your way past your prime”. Sting continues on to say that their match was awesome and they had all the fans on their feet. He says that he wants Kurt Angle come out here so he can properly congratulate him on their match.

Kurt Angle comes out and walks into the ring. Kurt Angle grabs a microphone and walks towards Sting and gives him a handshake. Kurt Angle then begins to talk. He says that Sting proved him and most of the fans wrong last Sunday. He says that when he wrestled Sting, he could see a fire in his eyes. He saw something that he never saw in Sting for a very long time. He says that Sting’s passion for pro wrestling has never left him and his skills haven’t either. However, Kurt Angle says that he would love to face Sting once more again for the title. Kurt Angle says that he believes that he can beat this new Sting. Sting nods his head and says that he accepts.

As Sting says this, the music of Matt Morgan plays and Morgan comes down to the ring. Morgan grabs a mic and says that it’s about time that someone else stepped up to the plate. Morgan says that he’s been in Impact Wrestling for almost four years and has only had two chances to become the world champion while Kurt Angle has had numerous chances and has most reigns in the history of the world heavyweight championship. He continues on to say that he will not stand by and watch old has been wrestlers like Kurt Angle and Sting is the stars while he’s forced in the back of the line. He says more than qualified to be a #1 contender because he just beat Samoa Joe at Genesis, who is also a former world champion.

The titantron turns on shows Bischoff at his desk in his GM office. Bischoff says that he completely understands what Matt Morgan means and agrees with him. However, he says that he wants to see more of what Morgan can do before he can just let him be a contender for the world title. He says that he’ll see if Morgan can step his game up by facing the current world champion, Sting…Tonight as the main event. Morgan seems to be happy and Sting gives his final words to Morgan. Sting says that he likes Morgan’s attitude but tonight he’ll show him how to be respectful for the ones who paved the way for him in the squared circle….

A video package of the feud of Madison Rayne, Mickie James and The Beautiful People is shown.

Knockouts Championship
Madison Rayne © w/ Tara vs. Mickie James
During the match, Sky and Love come out to the ramp and Mickie’s attention is stuck on them. She says that Mickie didn’t want to believe her and she slowly started getting on The Beautiful People’s bad side. She says because of James’ attitude, she lost the title and now she’ll be left with nothing. Backstage in Bischoff’s office, Bischoff is working with paper work with a co-worker while AJ comes in. Bischoff orders the worker to leave the office. Bischoff asks AJ what he wants from him. AJ has an angry look on his face and demands that he faces Daniels tonight. Bischoff denies his request and AJ looks pissed. Bischoff says that the reason why he’s able to get over on AJ is because he’s so timid and that’s exactly while he won’t ever get a chance at the world title. AJ says that he’s wrong and he will get a chance at the world title again. He also says that before he does that, he’s going to take care of Daniels. Bischoff tells him that he won’t let AJ do anything like that. He says that Daniels beat him fair and he can’t just run around here in his building looking for a fight. Bischoff tells AJ that he’s calling security to escort him out of his office and the arena. The security comes in and AJ fights off some of the security but the security finally get a hold of him. The security escort AJ out of Bischoff’s office and Bischoff looks very pleased.

New Signee vs. Amazing Red

Anderson comes out and says that Bully Ray is very funny. He says that no one cares about the record book or him losing. He says that all they care about is him being erased from Impact Wrestling. He says that he’s the man to do it too. Anderson says that at first he just wanted to beat Bully Ray but he says Ray is just like a high school bully that never quits or lets up. Anderson says that one of them has to leave Impact Wrestling because two of them just can’t be here at once. Anderson challenges Bully Ray to another match at the upcoming pay-per-view of this month, Against All Odds. Anderson says that he wants to raise the stakes in their match. Anderson says that he took a lot of thought in what match type they could have. He says that he has decided that it will be a “loser leaves Town” match. Anderson says that he knows that his employment is on the line but he will do anything it takes to get rid of Bully Ray. Bully Ray goes out of the ring and says that his answer is no…Anderson teases Bully Ray with enticing words but no of them work as Bully Ray continues to walk up the ramp and into the back.

AJ hits the Styles Clash on Bischoff and he celebrates. Daniels rolls Bischoff out of the ring and helps up Bischoff. AJ grabs a mic and says that this was only the beginning. AJ says that he’s finally fed up with Bischoff and Christopher Daniels. AJ says that he won’t quit until he finally gets justice. AJ says that ever that bastard Bischoff has been in IMPACT wrestling, he’s been destroying the very same people who made this company what it is today. AJ says that Daniels is too gullible. AJ says that Daniels has lost his passion for the business and now he’s siding with Bischoff to get in the easy way. AJ says that next week, he’s got a surprise for Daniels and Bischoff.

IMPACT wrestling Episode 6

The show kicks off from the Astro Dome in Houston, Texas. Taz and Mike Tenay welcome us to another episode of IMPACT Wrestling! The stage and entrance ramp explode with pyros and fireworks as the fans roar in anticipation.

Eric Bischoff and Daniels come out to start the show. It appears that they are about to handle the situation with their rival, AJ Styles. Bischoff says that he wants AJ to reveal his so called surprise right now. Bischoff says that he’s getting pissed off with AJ’s recent actions. He says that last week, AJ stepped on Impact Wrestling property after being kicked out. Bischoff continues on to say that AJ even put his hands on him. He says that AJ is lucky enough to still have a job after his stunts. Bischoff says that the reason he hasn’t fired him yet is because he wants AJ’s life to be a living hell that he’ll want to quit. Bischoff says that he wants a damn apology from AJ Styles right now.

AJ Styles comes out to a huge pop. AJ steps foot in the ring with a microphone in hand. AJ begins to speak. AJ says that he has a lot to address right now. He says but first he wants to give Bischoff and Daniels a piece of his mind. AJ says that he’s been apart of this company ever since the beginning. But he says he’s never seen someone abuse their power as much as Bischoff has. AJ says that where he was raised, when a person didn’t like someone, that person would confront them and settle things in a fight. He says Bischoff does things a lot differently. AJ says that if Bischoff doesn’t like him then he should fight him in the ring instead of relying on Christopher Daniels. AJ continues onto Daniels. AJ says that he has never seen someone as spineless as Daniels. AJ says that he can’t believe the way Daniels is acting. AJ says that Daniels was taught better than this and if Daniels wants the World title so much, then he should use his skill instead of using Bischoff as the key. He says that he’s through with trying to be the voice of reason with Daniels because now they’re just enemies. AJ tells Bischoff that he does have surprise and his surprise was waiting to kick Bischoff’s ass.

And AJ’s surprise is finally revealed as…..Jim Cornette!!! Cornette comes out and gets a huge pop from the crowd as everyone seems to be happy to see him. Cornette stands at the ramp as fans cheer his name. Cornette begins to talk. He says that he’s been watching Impact Wrestling for quite a while now and has seen enough. Bischoff asks what Cornette is doing here. Cornette says that he’s been here for a while now but Bischoff has been too busy with personal business to realize that he’s been the head of TNA management. Bischoff looks shocked as this shocking development unfolds. Cornette says that before Hogan left on a hiatus, he put him in charge as the head of management which means that he has just as much power as Bischoff does. Cornette says that he flew from Nashville, Tennessee just so he can light a fire in Bischoff’s ass. Cornette says that he’s been around long enough to another wrestling company be tarred down by Bischoff. He says that Bischoff has always been a terrible businessman and he has no idea why the former TNA president Dixie Carter left Bischoff in charge knowing that Bischoff is a got damn leach that destroys the good in the company. Cornette says that tonight, he’ll be in charge and he’ll be apart of Impact Wrestling for a long time until Bischoff decides to quit. Cornette announces that tonight, there will be a main event including Daniels go one on one against one an underrated wrestler that deserves the main event, Jay Lethal. He says that AJ Styles will be the special guest referee for the match. Cornette says that he hasn’t forgotten about AJ at all because at Against All Odds, AJ will get retribution against Christopher Daniels. AJ is happy while Daniels and Bischoff don’t look so happy at the recent development that has token place. AJ leaves the ring and points at Daniels.

World’s Greatest Tag Team vs. Kings of Wrestling
This match ends in a draw at 7:23 after both tag teams brawl outside of the ring and the ref counts for the 10 count.

Backstage, Jay Lethal is being interviewed with SoCal Val. Jay Lethal says that it’s an honor to be recognized by Jim Cornette. Jay Lethal believes that he’ll have future opportunities to become champion. He says that he’s going to give it his all to become everything that he can be. He continues to talk but he gets interrupted by Desmond Wolfe. Desmond says that he’s the underrated one. Desmond says that he can out wrestle anybody in the roster but he’s hasn’t had any time to shine. Desmond tells Lethal that he better watch his back.

Austin Aries vs. “The” Brian Kendrick
Great match. Austin Aries gets the win via pinfall 6:07 due to the brainbuster.

Next up, will be Robert Roode vs. The Pope for the Television Championship

Television Championship
Robert Roode © vs. Pope
This match was good for beginning to finish. The Pope gives Robert Roode a run for his money but Roode finds yet another way to survive. Roode grabs his title and hits Pope with the belt, disqualifying himself but retaining the Television Championship. Pope wins via disqualification at 9:02.

Matt Morgan comes out to the ring and it appears as though he has something to say. Matt Morgan grabs a mic and says that since Jim Cornette has made his return, all of the attention has been away from him. Morgan says that he loves the idea that Cornette is back because Cornette was the first person to recognize his greatness. He says but when Jim left TNA, he’s gone on to do better things like beating a former world champion and the current world champion. Morgan continues on to say that the main event for Against All Odds, should just be Matt Morgan vs. Sting. He says that Kurt Angle couldn’t beat Sting but he could.

Kurt Angle comes to the ring in response to Morgan’s verbal attack. Kurt says that Morgan should learn more respect before he goes running his mouth. He says that Morgan will never get to the top if he continues to bash him and Sting. Morgan interrupts and says that he’s already at the top and no one can stop him from gaining the gold.

Sting also comes out and gives Morgan a little lecture. Sting says that his match with Morgan last week was great and he has no doubt that Morgan will be a star. But, he says that his time to lose the title is not near. Sting says that he doesn’t plan on losing the title to Matt Morgan or Kurt Angle.

The titantron turns on and we see Jim Cornette in the office of Eric Bischoff’s. Cornette says that he has always seen so much potential in Matt Morgan. He says that he does believe that he has what it takes to become the next World Champion, however, before he can decide if Morgan gets a spot in the world title picture, he wants it to be Kurt Angle vs. Matt Morgan next. He also says if Morgan beats Kurt Angle then the match at AOA will be a triple threat including Matt Morgan.

Kurt Angle vs. Matt Morgan
Kurt Angle and Matt Morgan both proved have to great chemistry in the ring. Morgan got the upper hand in the ending of the match but a surprise guest, Samoa Joe, came to out to the ramp to get Morgan’s attention. Morgan gets distracted and Angle lifts up Morgan for the Angle Slam! Kurt Angle gets the win via pin at 10:02. After the match, Matt Morgan paces around in the ring for a bit, angry at the outcome of the match.

Backstage, Robert Roode talks with Ms. Brooks about his successful title defense. However, Jim Cornette interrupts them and says that he doesn’t like the way Roode did business tonight in the ring against The Pope. He says he’s making another match at Against All Odds and Robert Roode will defend his title once again against The Pope in a No Disqualification match. Roode is displeased by this shocking development as Jim Cornette takes leave.

Mr. Anderson vs. Robbie E
This was a bit of a quick match. Mr. Anderson picked up the win at 4:22 via pinfall after hitting the Mic Check. After the match, Bully Ray comes through the crowd and attacks Anderson. Bully Ray beats down on Anderson and it seems to be retaliation from last week when Anderson punked him.

ODB and Taylor Wilde vs. Ms. Tessmacher and Sarita
Great match. Taylor Wilde gets the pinfall at 7:23 for her team after pulling off the Wilde Ride (Bridging German Suplex) on Tessmacher for the win. Sarita looks on surprised and leaves the ring in a hurry after Wilde and ODB wins the match.

Bischoff is in another office which appears to look worse. He’ upset with the way things are going. Daniels tries to calm down Bischoff’s nerves. Bischoff says he will find a way to gain complete control of Impact Wrestling.

Jay Lethal vs. Christopher Daniels (AJ Styles as the special guest referee)
AJ Styles appears to be overly biased in the match- up between Lethal and Daniels. Throughout the match, AJ would slowly count a pinfall when Daniels would pin Lethal or do other things to get under Daniels’s skin. Even though it was a biased match, the match was overall good. Jay Lethal gets the pinfall at 8:01 with the Lethal Injection. After the match, AJ Styles and Jay Lethal celebrate the match as IMPACT Wrestling goes off the air.

The champions and roster are amazing it should be the one TNA would one day dream to have.

The feuds of Daniels/Bischoff vs now Styles/Cornette has been great to see.

Pope/Roode has been good but I was hoping in week 5 for Storm to be Pope's partner considering the segment involving them the previous week.

Rayne/M. James/Bea. Pepole feud has caught my eye as has the P. Williams/Young/Kaval/Kaz feud you got going.

MCMG/KOW/WGTT = The most EPIC Tag Team Championship match ever if its happens and I have a feeling it will one day.

Anderson/Ray has been awesome as was the brief Joe/Morgan feud.

Speaking of Morgan his involvement in the Sting/Angle has been great.

The rest has been amazing as well.

I enjoyed the vividly detailed PPV and like that youre saving that style for the PPV's themselves rather than an everyday kinda thing, making the PPV's special.

Overall I love your work and hope to see more soon.

Jacqueline walks down to the ring in business attire as The Beautiful People and Mickie’s confrontation pauses. Jacqueline steps in the ring and grabs a mic. Jacqueline says that for two years, she hasn’t stepped in a wrestling ring and now that she has, she comes back to a bunch of knockouts crying about their misfortunes. She continues on to say that about a week ago, she got a call from Cornette and he wanted her to become the President of the Knockouts. She said she had no idea that she would have to baby sit though. She says that if Mickie and Love want to settle their differences, they should have done it weeks ago in the ring. She says that now that she’s here, she’s going to do things the right way. She says that later tonight, Mickie James and Love will battle one on one for the number #1 contendership for the Knockouts Championship. After this, Madison Rayne comes out to the ramp with Tara and she claps for Jacqueline. Rayne talks on the mic and says that even though she’s the Knockouts champion, she still has a hard time with getting attention. She says that the Knockouts shouldn’t be about Angelina or Mickie, it should be about her. Madison tells Jacqueline that if she doesn’t pay attention to her, she’ll get her fired on the spot. Jacqueline laughs and says that since Madison wants so much attention, she’ll give her a match next week against ODB for the Knockouts Championship! A big announcement for next week’s Impact Wrestling!

Kaval is being interviewed backstage by Jeremy Borash. Kaval says that tonight he will team up with a person never seen before on IMPACT Wrestling. He says that the person will be a new addition to the X Division and is a good friend of his.

AJ Styles vs. Bully Ray
AJ Styles proved to be the better wrestler in this bout. Bully Ray and AJ Styles went back and forth in the match but AJ Styles soon connected with the Styles Clash and the pinfall at 8:12. After the match, Bully Ray gets up and looks furious. He grabs the mic and it appears that he’s going to address Anderson. He says that ever since Anderson cheated at Genesis, he’s been off his game. He says it’s because of Anderson that he just lost to AJ Styles. He says at Against All Odds, they’re on and it will be “Loser leaves Town” match. He says that he wants the stipulation to be something that’s right up his ally so that Anderson can’t cheat. He says the match will be a table match. Mr. Anderson comes out to the ramp and agrees with Bully Ray. Anderson says that on Ray’s last Thursday before he’s kicked out of the company, he wants to throw him a party in memory of his wrestling career. That party will be next Thursday on Impact Wrestling.

Kurt Angle and Sting vs. Matt Morgan and Samoa Joe
This was a good match. Morgan got the upper hand on Kurt Angle. But before Morgan can finish his assault, Joe tagged himself in. Morgan became hot and immediately chose to get in Joe’s face. Kurt Angle wastes no time and clotheslines Morgan out of the ring. Kurt is unaware of Joe’s tag in. Joe grabs Kurt and puts him up on his shoulders and connects with the Muscle Buster. Joe gets the pinfall at 9:23.

Public meeting with Bischoff and Cornette is at hand. Cornett’s purpose of the meeting was for Bischoff to sign a contract that states that Bischoff cannot in anyway do anything to AJ Styles. Bischoff and Cornette go back and forth with words. Cornette says that he came back to Impact Wrestling to straighten Bischoff out and most importantly see to it that AJ Styles gets the recognition he deserves in the company. Cornette threatens Bischoff by saying if he doesn’t sign the contract, he’ll see to it that Bischoff never steps forth in an Impact Wrestling arena ever again. Bischoff signs the contract. Afterwards, Bischoff smirks and says that Cornett’s power will run out soon enough. Daniels gets on the mic and says that he has had enough with all of the AJ talk. Daniels says that he has more to offer in the business than AJ Styles. Cornette leaves the ring and tells Daniels that he’ll let AJ answer that for him. AJ runs down to the ring and Daniels backs up. AJ says that Daniels would have been a world champ by now if he had just followed in his own steps and not the footsteps of Bischoff. AJ says that listening to Bischoff is what will be his downfall and that he will never become a world champion with the attitude that he has now. AJ says that at AAO, he will prove to Daniels why Jim Cornette believes the future of Impact Wrestling lies in him.

Great way to open the show as a Ricola Bomb is delivered onto Haas by Castagnoli to get the win and Hero announces himself vs Benjamin for next week.

Hmm interesting segment with Joe and Morgan here.

Great win for Lethal.

Great focus on the KO's Division by Jacqueline immediately interject herself and the authority given to her by Cornette and make the M. James/Beau. Peop./M. Rayne more exciting.

Richie Steamboat? Dang he's a good addition to the X Division indeed, starting with getting the win on his debut here.

Good backstage segment with Anderson.

Good win for Angelina Love.

Awesome win for Styles and the post match promo by Ray and Anderson was well done.

Fantastic tag match with the win for Joe.

A fabulous show of power by Cornette making Bischoff butt out of Styles business for the time being leaving this to truly be Styles vs Daniels to determine who the better competitor is. Well done.

Overall a great showing of Cornettes power and plenty of exciting action throughout the show.

Good job.

IMPACT Wrestling Episode 8

The show kicks off from the Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. Taz and Mike Tenay welcome us to another episode of IMPACT Wrestling! The stage and entrance ramp explode with pyros and fireworks as the fans roar in anticipation.

The show starts off with Matt Morgan coming to the ring from backstage. Matt Morgan walks in the ring with a mic in his hand. Matt Morgan looks to be very pissed. Morgan looks around at all the crowd and the crowd gives him a lot of heat. Morgan says that he never thought it would be this hard to get a title shot. Morgan states that in the past, he’s witnessed people like Kurt and Sting come into the company and just be given a title shot within 3 months prior to their debut. He says he’s sick and tired of being overlooked. He says he doesn’t care if it’s Bischoff or Cornette, but one of them is going to grant him a spot in the title match at Against All Odds.
Immediately, Samoa Joe comes out and to the ring and the crowd goes crazy. Joe paces around the ring before he grabs a mic. He gets close in the face of Morgan and tells him that he’s sick and tired of him wining about why he can’t have a title shot. Joe says that Morgan isn’t the only one overlooked. Joe says that last week while Morgan was recovering from a clothesline by Angle, he pinned Angle in the tag team match. Joe says that pinning the challenger for the world title means that he’s just as good. He says that he’s even better. He says that as of now, he wants to be a challenger for the title too. He says that Morgan is going to have to wait his turn because it’s time for him to shine.
Then, Kurt Angle comes out to the ring and points out an interesting fact. Kurt Angle says that about 7 weeks ago, he defeated all of them in a 6 man battle royal match. Angle says that he’s the only one who has done something to get a shot at the world title. Angle says that Morgan never beat him so he’s in no position to come out here and demand a title shot. He also says that Joe isn’t any better because he lost to Morgan at Genesis so that puts him behind. Angle says that if they want to test him, he’ll be happy to fight them and show that he’s the top dog.
Then, the lights go off and Sting appears in the rafters. It seems like everyone is getting on in this segment. Sting says that he’s happy that everyone is eager to face him for the title. Sting says that he doesn’t believe in rules and regulations. He says that to settle this, Against All Odds’ main event should be a four way for the world title. However, Sting says the results in the match will be the same if he had faced any of them one on one for the title. He says no matter what, he will be world champion. Sting continues on to say that his time isn’t done yet. He says he’s waiting for something and that something hasn’t come yet.

With all of this commotion going on in the ring, the titantron turns and Bischoff appears in his own office. Bischoff says that neither Morgan nor Joe will be apart of the main event at AAO. He says if they want to have a future title shot, they better start climbing the ranks. Suddenly, Bischoff’s door opens and Cornette walks in. Cornette says that he understands Bischoff’s reasoning. Bischoff puts his head down and shame as though he knows that Cornette hasn’t come to side with him. Cornette overrules Bischoff’s decision. Cornette says that there will be a three way match for the world title at AAO. He says tonight, the third challenger will be determined when Matt Morgan faces Samoa Joe. He says whoever wins will be the third challenger. That match will be the main event.

Bischoff looks in frustration as Cornette leaves the room. Bischoff slams his hands on his desk and the titantron turns off…

Richie Steamboat w/ Kaval vs. Petey Williams w/ Eric Young
This was a good match. Richie Steamboat got a lot of exposure in this match and the crowd got to witness his amazing in-ring ability. Richie Steamboat pins Petey Williams at 6:56 with the Jackhammer Elbow Drop. After the match, Richie Steamboat gets on the mic and tells Kaval that he’ll have his back at AAO in his X Division championship match.

Backstage, Desmond Wolfe is being interviewed. Wolfe says that he doesn’t understand the sudden talk about the boring Jay Lethal. Wolfe says that Lethal is generic and should have never been hired into the company. Wolfe says that he talked with Bischoff earlier and Bischoff has decided that Jay Lethal will go against him at AAO for the #1 contendership for the TV title. Wolfe says that he’s ready for that. He also says that he’s ready to outdo Jay Lethal and Motor City in a 6 man tag team match. British Invasion comes behind Desmond Wolfe and all of them start to act friendly. Wolfe says that he has allies in high places and he’ll show Lethal the true meaning of wrestling.

Backstage, the camera gets a shot at The Pope and AJ Styles in the locker room. Jeremy Borash wants to get some answers from them. Borash asks what they expect from the team of Roode and Daniels. The Pope grabs the mic from Borash. Pope says that in all his life he’s never had to deal with such a trifling person like “Bobby”. The Pope says that he’s also sure that AJ Styles has never came across someone as evil as Daniels. The Pope says that him and The Phenomenal AJ Styles, for one night only, will team together to break down, beat down, and pimp slap the lying, cheating, and trifling team of Roode and Daniels. Pope tells Borash to leave and get a better suit.

Knockouts Championship
Madison Rayne vs. ODB
Madison Rayne gets the win cleanly over ODB at 6:58 via pinfall after executing the Rayne Drop.
A Promo is shown of Kings of Wrestling and World’s Greatest Tag Team. It talks about how they are both revered as Wrestling’s greatest tag teams of the present. There match will is only days away and there will only be one team standing as the World Tag Team champions.

British Invasion and Desmond Wolfe vs. Jay Lethal and MCMG
Desmond Wolfe gets the pin on Jay Lethal at 8:12 after hitting the Jawbreaker Lariat. It appears that Wolfe will be a great opponent for the up and coming Jay Lethal.

Backstage, Bischoff knocks on Cornett’s office door. Cornette gives him the “go” to open the door. Bischoff comes in and nicely demands to know why he can never make decision without Cornette jumping into the mix. Cornette says that he was sent here to make sure that Bischoff makes good business decisions. Cornette says that before he came to Impact wrestling, Bischoff has been making bad decisions. He says that diminishing AJ Styles’ status and not allowing there to be a 3 way for the world title are all examples off bad business decisions. He says that until he can smarten up, he’ll let him pull his own weight. Bischoff yes-sir’s Cornette and leaves with a pissed off tone. It appears that Cornette won’t let up.

Chris Hero vs. Shelton Benjamin
Great match. Shelton Benjamin and Chris Hero were both good competitors. However, Benjamin showed to be the better man in this match. Benjamin captured the win by pinfall via his Pay Dirt.

The next segment appears to be the supposedly farewell party for Bully Ray. The ring is decorated with party material and inside the ring are high calorie food like chicken and all types of fat food. Also, there is a bunch of presents that are placed on a round table. Mr. Anderson stands in the middle ring and he wants to bring out Bully Ray. Bully Ray comes out and says that he doesn’t want to deal with Anderson. Anderson says that he has nothing in the ring that can harm Ray. Ray comes in the ring and Anderson shows him around the ring. Anderson mocks him and says that he made his favorite food because he knows how much Ray loves to eat. Anderson then makes Ray open up some presents. The first present appears to be a weight scale. Ray looks at Anderson and gets pissed off. Anderson tells him to keep unwrapping gifts because its gets better, the next gift is a video labeled “The Best of the Worst Wrestler: Bully Ray”. Bully Ray gets mad and gets in the face of Anderson. Anderson then tells him that he has another surprise for him. Anderson rolls a clip on the titantron of Bully’s Ray best moments at Impact Wrestling. Jokingly, there appeared to be nothing to be shown. The video was blank. Anderson says that his point is that Bully Ray will leave behind no legacy. Anderson says that he will beat Bully Ray at his own game and Bully Ray will be forgotten just like his old ECW friends. Anderson pushes Bully Ray too far and Bully Ray smashes Anderson’s head with the weight scale. Bully Ray brutally beats down Anderson. Anderson somehow gets back up to fight and gets the upper hand. Security guards come out and try to break it up but they begin to fight again. Bully bring out a table and. The security guards stand back and watch as Bully Ray powerbombs the unconscious Mr. Anderson through a table.

Robert Roode and Daniels vs. AJ Styles and D’Angelo “The Pope” Dinero
There was great chemistry throughout the match. The Pope picks up the win on Roode with a pinfall at 8:50 after AJ Styles occupies Daniels with a suicide divide to the outside ring. The Pope then gets the opportunity to hit the DDE on Roode for the win.

Whoever wins will become apart of the World Heavyweight Championship match
Samoa Joe vs. Matt Morgan
Great match. This match was even better than their Pay-per-view match. Matt Morgan creates a reenactment of Genesis after hitting the Carbon Footprint on Joe for the win by pinfall at 12:02. Morgan celebrates and generates a lot of heat in the ring. Sting looks up from the rafters as Morgan celebrates and doesn’t notice him. IMPACT Wrestling comes to a close as Morgan is revealed as the third challenger.

Review:

You started the show with a verrryyy looonnngggg promo which isnt bad just not my taste when it comes to TNA, still it was a good of time to setup the TNA World Heavyweight Championship scene and also show the dispute of power between Bischoff and Cornette.

Great counter balance after such an extensive promo by giving a great X Division match with Steamboat getting the w.

Good promo by Wolfe to explain his match with Lethal and also announce the 6 man tag team match for later on.

Nice combined promo from Pope and Styles.

Awesome win for Rayne followed by a promo to put some hype into The Kings of Wrestling vs The World's Great Tag Team match at the PPV, I'm very much looking forward to that match.

Great win for the heels The British Invasion and Desmond Wolfe.

Good segment between Bischoff and Cornette, :D

Awesome win for Benjamin.

Amazing segment and promo work for this Anderson vs Ray feud, their match at the PPV looks very promising.

Great wins for Styles and Pope as well as Morgan securing his place in the TNA World Heavyweight Championship match.

Overall a lot development went into these feuds and it has paid off. The PPV card looks stacked and each match looks amazing so the PPV is looking to be a homerun of a dunk that will acomplish the GOAAALLLL like a TOUCHDOWN!!! xD Sorry I was bored :p
