When you order wings, do you order them mild, medium, or hot? Where is your favorite place to eat wings? Buffalo Wild Wings, Hooters? I prefer Beef O Brady's:

Rich, great thread man. IPEEINTHESHOWER goes to BW3 A.K.A Buffalo Wild Wings all the time. Although I've have much better wings elsewhere its my second home. I'm treated like a king there and the bartenders love me. Probably because every time I go there I end up paying for their electric bill. They show all UFC events not to mention the fine pieces of ass that show up at the bar and are DTF. (Jersey Shore reference) Many of women from the bar have had the best 3 min of their lives because of IPEEINTHESHOWER. But seriously, it's my second home and it's close (no DUI for me). I always get the wild sauce, it's the second hottest to blazing. They have a new sauce that is called Jammin' Jalapeno and its so gooooooood. I had some yesterday and they are highly recommended. My buddies and I like to go to little dive bars around the city and usually they always have the best wings. Even though its a stereotype that white people love ranch and damn near put in on everything, I can't stand the stuff. I myself like blue cheese and celery. Especially crumbled blue cheese. (I could live off that stuff) We have many wing shops around Columbus like Roosters, Wings, Hooters and Quaker Steak and Lube. (IPEEINTHESHOWER bought some atomic sauce, it comes in a brown medicine container http://t2.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcTpmqCC5qzXlJ8f3OW5nNQyNjx2Ar3jg nqhsvr4LDNbCx3ZAcAYzg to squeeze that poison on anything. Its way to hot for me and I like hot stuff. Hell it even came with a liability waiver for you to sign basically saying your a dumb ass for eating this. I'm a wing man over pizza any day.

I don't care how my wings are cooked. As long as I can dip them in honey mustard and ranch.

Also, like IPITS said, some of your local dive bars have really good wings too!

*I don't care for the wings you can get in the grocery store deli!

Rich Cranium
03-09-2011, 09:59 PM
No I haven't but don't you need a fryer?

Bodom
03-09-2011, 10:03 PM
If you don't have a fryer you can just use a deep pan and fill it with oil. Or if you're health conscience you can bake them.

I live in Miami dude.

There's practically clubs on ever corner with women that are more scantily clad than at Hooters (and hotter too).

So unfair, scantily clad women are in short supply where I come from.

I just love buffalo sauce. I like to cook my chicken strips and just dip submerge them in the sauce after they get done. Then toss them in the oven for a few minutes for them to dry up and delicious.

I'm probably alone here, but I'm not crazy about having my wings slathered in sauce. I like the skin as dry and crispy as possible. And homemade beat restaurant-style 9 times out of 10.

And here's a recipe that will convert anyone who thinks that baked wings suck:

Ape's Chesapeake Wings

2 pounds of chicken wings
1/2 C. Vegetable Oil or Shortening
1/2 C. Killian's Irish Red (or similar beer)
1/4 C. Apple Cider Vinegar
3/4 C. Old Bay Seasoning
Dried Rosemary (to personal preference)

1. Rinse wings and then pat dry.

2. In a measuring cup, thoroughly combine remaining ingredients. Place dry wings in freezer bags and coat with marinade.

3. Place bags of wings in refrigerator overnight.

4. Take the wings out of the marinade and spread across baking sheets (preferably ones with drip screens, as this prevents the wings from laying in the run-out and getting soggy).

5. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

6. Bake for 45 minutes.

7. Serve with bleu cheese, ranch, or a creamy ceasar. And beer. Lots more beer.
