I know this is an international forum and their are members from all sorts of places. The one thing I always notice is that their is a HUGE membership from the UK and at times I wonder what is the ratio for Americans and the UK. Not that it matters but just for curiosity since I often find myself using Google to figure out what a plonker and a bloke is and what other words mean. Anyone?

Hi my names Kash. Born and bred in Fulham, currently residing in Coydon. The beaches are fantastic, and the birds are always walking around in bikinis.... In my dreams MwuHaHaHa!!!

Side note. I was thinking of creating a thread similar to this, as the EWN has recently become a hotbed for international posters! We got posters on here from Belgium to Narnia to Somewhere making someone humble to Colombia!

Hello SHOWERHEADS and Sprinklers of all ages. Please allow me to give you a few fun facts about where the man that is known as IPEEINTHESHOWER resides. We are home to the first ambulance service in 1865 and we are also the first to have a traffic light. We invented the cash register and is home to 24 astronauts. We are the birthplace of Aviation. We had the first professional baseball team. We are the leading producer of greenhouse and nursery plants (A.K.A weed). The first man to walk on the moon is from here. Steven Spielberg, Paul Newman, Annie Oakley, Arsenio Hall and Clark Gable are also from here. My state gave America its first hot dog in 1900. We are the 17th state. Our state flag is a pennant design (we are the only ones because we are special). Thomas A. Edison is from here he developed the incandescent light bulb, phonograph, and early motion picture camera and much more. We made America's first automobile in 1891. We invented Teflon in 1938 and we patented chewing gum in 1869. We had the first African American elected to public office in 1854. Jesse Owens is from here.
Last but certainly not least the greatest college football/basketball programs are here. Go Buckeyes!!!!!!

I was born into a Forces family, my birthplace bears no recognition to my actual hometown.

I was born in Lincolnshire, but since then I've moved to and lived in many many towns and cities - I went where my Dad was posted.

I joined the RAF at 18 and was posted to Wiltshire....where I have been ever since.

But my hometown is a little town called High Wycombe and it's about 30-40 minutes from London.

I support Liverpool FC - I can back up the fact that Liverpool is a great place...and the people are friendly...yes Scousers get a lot of sh*t but it's all in good humour...

Well, I'm from Mississippi. I live 20 minutes from the birthplace of Elvis Pressley. Other famous people from MS that I feel like listing are: Morgan Freeman (come on, he's the voice of God), Jim Henson (from the Muppets), James Earl Jones (Darth Vader FTW), the future owner of the USA: Oprah, Britney Spears, William Faulkner and John Grisham. I would list some professional athletes but there are too many but I'm just gonna list 3 of the greatest football players of all-time: Jerry Rice, Walter Payton and Brett Favre. And since this is a wrestling forum the only wrestling person I know of that was born in MS is Jimmy Hart, although Ted Dibiase lives here (I don't think he was born here). And I know The Teddy Bear was invented here, after a hunting trip by President Theodore Roosevelt where he refused to shoot a caputred bear, as well as Root beer was first made in Biloxi by the Barq company.

Here is an image of the most important cities in my country. The one I live in is underlined. It's a small city of around 15.000 people, around 20-25 minute drive from Brussels. The only thing we Belgians are known for are: Belgian waffles, Fries, Beer, Manneke Pis (check extra image 1 below) and The Atomium (extra image 2 below).

And certain branches of the EU!

I like Belgium although I've only been once, I visited Ostend during a football tour that took in part of France too.

You liked Ostend? I always go there during the summer holidays.
