According to the News Board, TNA recently reached out to former WCW champ DDP with an offer. DDP declined the offer as he is busy with other ventures including his yoga business. How do you think DDP would have faired in TNA with the HogaBitchofRusso regime?

It would add in stupid stuff.

DDP was a big name in WCW and got some huge pops. But I think he is only good for wrestling, and at his age TNA would get yet even more laughs. TNA have Hogan and Flair, but at least they seldom wrestle. Hogan is great to have on screen, biggest name in wrestling ever! Flair is brilliant to have on screen, massive name, funny, charasmatic and brilliant at putting others over.

There are some good wrestlers in Shelton and Hass that could do with a contract, not DDP. I wouldn't mind him comming in to help Dixie get the company back, but then leaving soon after.

TNA is like a collectors shelf of 'classic' wrestling figurines that are apparantly priceless but have the motion and ability of...well, a plastic figurine. All we need is a DDP, a Randy Savage and an Ultimate Warrior to complete the whole set!

They reach out to DDP, but refuse to consider the World's Greatest Tag-Team?? It's now official, Hogan and Bischoff know nothing about what fans want.

It's only now official?? BiscHogan Inc only knew what was relevant to them - lining their own pockets at the expense of a fledgling company, taking advantage of a desperate company head that knows nothing about the wrestling business and even less about what the fans want to see. Here's an idea Dixie - how about asking the fans what they want instead of believing the spin Dr.Bischoff and "Need Money For Alimony And So My New GF Will Stick Around" Hulk-the-Maniac tell her. Bischoff might have known wrestling in the 90's (especially with someone else's cash on the line) but not now and Hogan is nothing more than an actor who has always relied on the direction of others.

They would have given him their championship belt within two months, redesigned it with "DDP's Yoga Company" inscribed on the faceplate, had him feud with a returning Sting, loses the belt, then becomes a stalker that attacks Karen Angle, leading to a Jarrett/DDP feud where the loser quits or something.

Anything NOT original, in other words.

I liked DDP back in the day and feel like the wwe really dropped the ball with him. I dont mind TNA bring in the older guys if they are used correctly. Like maybe as a manager. DDP was not that bad on the mic and could help some of the younger talent get over. But I dont want to see him in the ring wrestling.

Nah it's just some random girl called "The Diamond Doll".

BAck then in the AWA, when DDP was a manager, he ran a stable called The Diamond Exchange. And all his guys would have valets called "The Diamond Dolls". I think they were waitresses at a restraint he owned

Medusa was a part of The Diamond Exchange however. Hey check this out...

I love this part about AWA - "He worked for the AWA at 12 dates over a period of nine months, where they filmed all the television shows in one day."

Props to DDP for leaving the past alone and not trying to squeeze another 10 minutes out of his 15 minutes of fame. Live on yoga not wrestling conventions my friend-
