Would anyone else mark out for that, but me? Like imagine if Shane bought half of TNA and became co-owner with Dixie Carter. Anyone else would love for this to happen?

Why would he waste money on that?

LOL! Such a random topic.. I think Shane is smart enough to not go against his dad when it comes to wrestling, plus even if he did buy half of TNA.. what would it change?.

No that will be one of the saddest days in wrestling.McMahon the only thing he wants to do to other wrestling promotions is to take them out of business

Well, Vince could buy the company for the symbolic value of $1.

So what you're basically asking is if we'd mark out if WWE bought TNA?

Unlikely to happen and very doubtful.... for several reasons..... One a company got to be up for sale or looking to do business with others... and TNA is not..... Second wouldn't it almost be like WWF buy what was left of WCW in 2001 as many have already mentioned?? Something wrestling don't need is a huge monopoly esp when it sometimes appears the WWE don't know what they already have in the world !!!

But I agree with Ashley here. I'd definitely watch TNA if Shane bought it.

There wouldn't be a TNA to watch, I'm afraid. It'd be WWE Presents: Impact Wrestling.

I don't believe they would sell to a McMahon.

It's a publicly owned company. Nothing is secret.

Sounds like the invasion angle all over again. I think Shane wants to get away from that lifestyle - He has become the wrestling worlds answer to "Where's Waldo?". Every time he is mentioned it is usually an article about how 'Shane was spotted playing golf' or 'Shane was seen painting a billboard' or 'Shane was seen in Japan closing a deal'.

It would shock everyone but I don't think it would change anything, it will give them national exposure though since a McMahon is buying into the company.

what TNA needs to do is more traveling. Stop being the old wrestler retirement home. They need to start trying to sell out small arenas for episodes of Impact, ppvs, and live events. BFG should have been in a much larger arena, not a college auditorium. All ppvs at the very least should be in arenas. They also need to have Bruce Prichard step down as head of creative and try out someone else. I watch TNA for the great wrestling they usually have, but the bad storylines that get dropped before the payoff almost makes me want to stop watching. I just like closure. If you start a feud, don't drop it in 2 weeks like nothing happened. I hope the final payoff for aces and eights ends up being satisfying. And no I would not mark out if Shane McMahon bought TNA, unless he actually let it continue to be the same show, but with better writers, and once a year, and only once a year, we could have a WWE vs. TNA ppv, and it would be the only time they exchaged talent and worked together, while the rest of the year it continued to operate as it's own company not affiliated with WWE.

Why would he? He has worked hard to shake his association with the wrestling business as it is. It's a hard thing to get rid of, just ask 90% of people who were associated with it and tried to move to bigger and better things, it rarely happens.

Stephanie could buy out ROH.Randy Orton could defect to the Alliance despite never appearing in TNA or ROH,like Kurt Angle did in 2002.

No Thanks,no McMahons in TNA or ROH
