After over a year of the air, WCW is returning to Television on the USA Network. The Deal between WWE and AOL for the rights to wCw broke down and after Vince scurried to try and recover the deal personally flying into the AOL/Time Warner head office, when he arrived he was too late WCW had been bought by a benefactor who wished to remain anonymous. Eric Bischoff was called to reconstruct the company, rehiring talents and putting in place a structure that would make a sustainable business, this afternoon Bischoff is expected to give the first press conference on the matter of WCW’s Return although the date has already been set June 3rd 2002 with The Great American Bash PPV scheduled for Sunday 23nd June 2002 from the Cow palace in San Francisco (Daly City)

*Legal Issues*

A Legal debate has irrupted over just who Hulk Hogan was under contract with when he worked the WWE's Wrestlemania 18 Main Event against The Rock. If it is proven that Hogan was working under his WCW contract, a deal that Vince McMahon never official owned, WCW may have the right to legal action.

07-26-2012, 04:50 AM

The pyro explodes around the arena in Atlanta Georgia, at the forbes arena and 6,000 strong here to witness the return of WCW and the return of the Monday Night Wars. This event has been publiced for weeks, big names revealed, Bischoff on the Leno show and an internet wide campaign based on the return of WCW as the new theme song: “The Memory Remains” by Metalicca plays around a buzzing arena, The commentators Tony Shivonne and Scott Hudson welcome us to the broadcast and welcome us to WCW Nitro on USA, they talk about Hogan, Sting, Jarrett, Booker T and a few other names that vow to return tonight, plus Hogan and Sting have said they have a surprise partner for the 6-man Main Event.

Eric Bischoff comes down, and says welcomes everyone back to the new and improved WCW Monday Nitro on the USA Network. Bischoff says he has learnt from his mistakes and this time he’s going to do it right. He says we are going to bring you all the same controversy, all the same unpredictability and all the same action, but backstage we’ve got things straight, its new day and a new game and its game that will be controlled by Bischoff. Bischoff says tonight’s Nitro is 3 hours long! And the Main Event is going to be six man Tag Team Action, Kevin Nash and Scott Hall will be joined by Big Puppa Pump Scott Steiner and they will face “Hollywood” Hulk Hogan, “The Icon” Sting and a mystery partner, Bischoff claims that if they thought the mystery partner in 1996 was big (referring to Bash at the Beach 96 when Hogan was the mystery partner of Nash and Hall, to launch, NWO.) then tonight its going to be MASSIVE!

Bischoff says that’s not all he says that is not all, he says that over one year ago they went out with a “Night of Champions” and tonight we are going to have “Night of Champions II”, with the new Hardcore Champion being crowned and an 8 man elimination tournament to crown a new TV Champion getting underway, plus Booker T will defend both of his titles here tonight; The US Title against Road Warrior Animal and the World Heavyweight Championship against Diamond Dallas Page!, Bischoff says that the Tag Team Title will also be defended here tonight with O’Haire and Pulumbo defending against a legendary team of “Rowdy” Roddy Piper and “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair!

Bischoff introduces Flair who has a grand entrance with a shower of golden pyro and a collective crowd cheering and bowing down to the 16 time world champion.
Flair says that one year ago he was happy that WCW had died, because I had become such a mess and it was better to see it dead, than it be such a poor shrine to the likes of Harley Race, Dusty Rhodes, The funks and the Briscoes. Flair says that now he is convinced that WCW is back on its feet is back at its best and is going to be as strong as ever, new stars will be created and moments that will last a life time will come about again, Flair ends by claiming “Professional Wrestling has been missing since 1998, but TONIGHT! ITS BACK!”

07-26-2012, 10:24 AM
Great debut show. You managed to utilise most of the roster in the first show which was impressive. Main event was enjoyable, as was the US Title match. Bit of a nWo Hollywood and nWo Wolfpack feud, this time Hollywood having Sting being faces, and the Wolfpack being heel with Scott Steiner, which looks to be enjoyable.

Thanks man, glad you liked it, don't think i haven't noticed you WWF fed. when I get some time I'll read it and give you some feedback.

Here's a little insider for you; In order to not make it seem like two Rivaling nWo factions, I was going to give Sting, Hogan and Show a new name for their faction; "The Mega Heroes" bit it occured to me that sound too much like Macho Man should be involved so I dropped it and am looking for a new name.

Steiner is not going to be involved with Hall and Nash going forward ;)
