This is an AMAZING moment for THE'E to prove they're continuing to stay behind the IWC and no one is even talking about it??? This is absurd. Real quick history lesson, provided by WIKIPEDIA:

Benjamin "Ben" Satterly (also spelled Satterley in some sources, born on August 22, 1986) is an English (http://www.ewrestlingnews.com/wiki/England) professional wrestler (http://www.ewrestlingnews.com/wiki/Professional_wrestling), better known by his ring name (http://www.ewrestlingnews.com/wiki/Ring_name) Pac (stylized as PAC), who is currently working for Dragon Gate (http://www.ewrestlingnews.com/wiki/Dragon_Gate), and Dragon Gate USA (http://www.ewrestlingnews.com/wiki/Dragon_Gate_USA). He is noted for his exceptional high flying style which has earned him the nickname "The Man That Gravity Forgot". Satterly began his wrestling career in the North-East of England with a small promotion, the Independent Wrestling Federation, and after establishing himself in the United Kingdom (http://www.ewrestlingnews.com/wiki/United_Kingdom) and Ireland (http://www.ewrestlingnews.com/wiki/Republic_of_Ireland) with promotions such as Real Quality Wrestling (http://www.ewrestlingnews.com/wiki/Real_Quality_Wrestling), One Pro Wrestling (http://www.ewrestlingnews.com/wiki/One_Pro_Wrestling), and Irish Whip Wrestling (http://www.ewrestlingnews.com/wiki/Irish_Whip_Wrestling), he began to perform overseas, most notably for the Italy (http://www.ewrestlingnews.com/wiki/Italy)-based Nu Wrestling Evolution (http://www.ewrestlingnews.com/wiki/Nu_Wrestling_Evolution), the United States (http://www.ewrestlingnews.com/wiki/United_States)-based Ring of Honor (http://www.ewrestlingnews.com/wiki/Ring_of_Honor), Pro Wrestling Guerrilla (http://www.ewrestlingnews.com/wiki/Pro_Wrestling_Guerrilla) and Chikara (http://www.ewrestlingnews.com/wiki/Chikara_(professional_wrestling)), and the Japan (http://www.ewrestlingnews.com/wiki/Japan)-based Dragon Gate. On July 8, 2012 it was announced that Pac had signed with World Wrestling Entertainment (http://www.ewrestlingnews.com/wiki/World_Wrestling_Entertainment)

I'm completely THRILLED that Pac has now joined the ranks with CM Punk, Daniel Bryan (Bryan Danielson), Chris Hero (Cassius Ohno), Seth Rollins (Tyler Black), and Claudio Castagnoli (Antonio Cesaro)

Do yourself a favor and check out his matches with El Generico, Chris Hero, Low-Ki, Kevin Steen etc. He's been in NUMEROUS federations across the world and is very seasoned. Be on the lookout for this man and his soon to be stupid WWE name. Also, check out YouTube for "The 10 Best Moves Of Pac" and be astonished.

Honestly Rob, this is kind of disappointing for me. As much as I want PAC on the big stage, I'd rather he would have gone to TNA and been on TV almost immediately... then jump to WWE. As he is going to the E Universe, I feel he will not be featured on WWE primetime for another 6 years (3 in FCW and 3 on NXT... Better yet, see the current career of one Tyson Kidd) before being brought to the limelight. And in all honesty, I don't think he is going to be used right until the CruiserWeight program airs on the WWE Network (2013 launch date now, right?). Who knows, maybe they'll put him up there as quick as Matt Sydal or Justin Gabrial, but I know what the E Universe can do to guys (especially those with MAJOR anxiety issuse when speaking in front of lots of people like PAC) like this and don't want to see him chewed up like Spanky and spit out like Brian Kendrick ya know... that's just my opinion but I am VERY excited for PAC and hope people actually take notice of the talent this kid has because it's amazing.

I was going to make a thread on it, but got distracted. It's a good signing but I can't say I disagree with Darkside Ron there. I see him whiling away in development for a while, much the same as they did for Kaval and Rollins. But it's a good sign for cruiserweights, lets just hope the WWE style doesn't dampen his ability.

I was going to make a thread about it but at this time of the day, I'm way to tired to be putting any thought into thread making, so it would have been a disappointing OP lol!

I'm very happy at the signing. I've not seen much of his work, but I've heard great things. Can't wait to see the guy in action in WWE.

The way things are going, the roster for WWE's cruiserweight show is looking pretty damn good right now.

I completely understand where everyone is comng from with the doubts of THE 'E letting him be himself and using him correctly. But, with CM Punk and Daniel Bryan breaking the glass ceiling it's opened the doors for a lot more talent to be themselves on THE 'E TV. VKM and Haitch are searching broader and seeking more than they ever have. It's not for nothing. Haitch has been good so far at getting some top guys to come work for THE 'E and I really wish Steen and Generico would come on board as well.

Honestly, I think the best signing that E could have pulled was the Brodie Lee signing. I can see him working the E style quite well (Much better than Lance Hoyt did) but I think he is definately "moldable" for them to help him fit in well. With PAC, his style just doesn't fit at the moment. Much too high risk and far too timid on the mic. I think he will turn out like Mistico to where he gets blamed for "botches" that aren't so much him botches as it is the other guy not knowing how to catch. But I figure if Jon Moxley can turn WWE developemental then there is hope for a guy as young as PAC to get broken into what the E is producing now a days.

I'm super pumped to see PAC in the WWE, puts all that talk about a cruiserweight show for the WWE Network I read somewhere into a more likely than happen scenario. He'd be a star there for sure.

Still if he goes to NXT (where I think he might be better suited at least for a while) he can face Rollins, Ohno and Ambrose (if he's not called up soon) and all those matches are pretty much guaranteed show stealer quality matches that I would love to see.

THIS IS GREAT! He had strong matches in Japan recently. His work is just amazing! Great signing.

I had no idea who this is and I actually thought this thread would be about X-Pac! Now I've seen some of PAC's highlight vids and I have to say I'm impressed. Of course we'll never see his Frankensteiner variations in today's WWE but he definitely looks like he'll fit right into the same league as Kofi, Morrison, Bourne, Sin Cara, Gabrial and Hunico. I might have to go check out his matches and see what his actual match work is like and not just edited greats.

I'm so dissapointed that he isn't going to TNA, I just hope that WWE don't make him look to bad with their cenafication of wrestling ways.

Judging from the videos, hes an exceptional high flyer. But if he botches, I don't see him getting very far. Plus size really isn't on his size. He would be GREAT for NXT though, where they have good matches every week.

Some of the moves he does, the WWE wrestlers would need to cooperate really well with him or some bad botches are going to be happening.

Just looked at his videos on YouTube. Great wrestler. Hopefully WWE use him right though!

Not gonna lie, never even heard of him until this thread. Saw a load of youtube clips and echo the sentiments of many on here. Looks AMAZING, but worried the WWE will water down his move set like they have with many former indie guys (Punk and Hero spring to mind)

Hope this means they intend on bringing back managers. PAC can't cut a promo to save his life and will most likely spend years in FCW because of that.

Also always felt his nickname "The Man that Gravity Forgot" to be downright silly. Gravity makes his acrobatics possible. Without it he'd just float away.

Very much this, although I reckon he'll spend a couple of years in FCW anyway, to improve on his basic match psychology and non-flippy shit. (Obviously he's improved a fair bit in recent years, as exemplified by his Dream Gate match against CIMA, but he still has a long way to go)

I hope he gets to keep his mental Dragon Gate theme (http://grooveshark.com/#!/artist/PAC/1573094).

I saw PAC at a local indy show about two years ago. He was absolutely awesome. A good signing for WWE. Imagine PAC vs Sin Cara.

You can watch the aforementioned CIMA vs. PAC match HERE (http://www.openthedragongate.com/2012/03/infinity-252/) by fast-forwarding to 1:18:00. I post that because I reckon it's probably the best match he's had to date in terms of storytelling and selling and wot. He's also taken the art of ultra-flippy spotfests to new heights in a few legendary matches against Ricochet, but you'd never see anything of that calibre on a WWE show (which might be a good thing, I dunno)

I think he's playing the crowd. These signings are usually meant to be kept secret but with the internet these days, that hasn't been the case. Who knows though? I really hope it's true that the WWE signed him.
