WWE has a history of wrestlers who we want to see in the ring again, but what about those who are remembered for their gimmick? Who's gimmick would you love to see in Wrestling today.

For me, I think the Repo Man would be awesome to see in the WWE today. People think WWE is cartoony today haven't seen Repo Man.

The Mountie of course!!!

Also, I agree that Repo Man was pretty funny, Skinner was a hoot and Bob 'Sparky Plugg' Holly!

Demoltion were really cool as were the Powers Of Pain.

Loved the Million Dollar Man.

I also think that, upon his return, 'Taker should resurrect one his older gimmicks like Ministry style dark-lord or Big Evil!

Papa Shango. Maybe he could wave his hand and burn that tuft of hair off Tyson Kidd's head.

Seriously though, I'd love to see another Goldberg gimmick. Someone to quietly come in from nowhere and just rack up 100 wins dominating everyone. But where do you find a guy who can pull that off? And how do you get the upper tier egos to put someone like that over by jobbing to them?

Please allow the most stand out forum poster in the EWN community to give his infinite wisdom on this matter. This a very easy question for me to answer. I want to see the http://t3.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQciCM1psCjgSikbBON3IKQ8z-zF2hkl82wdPTgcEA-SSJMsWc&t=1&usg=__Lv-bQlYo4VcTloRYiZYfgShudyc= return so he can have a long drawn out f-e-u-d with http://t0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQ02hmtzRiVInOLLaGQtaO8H7TeloUEG 15Wb_Beog9s4aRo7Ck&t=1&usg=__KPL9Vi8GE3n6IMrfBwWSUTQjfak= that would be truly E-P-I-C.

I agree with you. Maybe even a dominant heel, a big guy who just comes in and destroys everyone in his path. They used to do this kind of thing in the 80s and 90s with Sid, Diesel, Undertaker, Yokozuna, Kane and the list goes on. I much prefer to see big bad ass guys dominate a match than go toe to toe with someone small or old, but as you say, egos get in the way of that kind of thing happening.

Goldberg sucked. We do not need another Goldberg with his 10 sec matches. We do however need another Doink the Clown type wrestler. The evil Doink the Clown though.

I would say Big Evil, but they tried that with Chuck Palumbo an it didn't go over very well.

But the one gimmick I'd love to see back in the WWE would have to be the APA gimmick. I already know TNA copied APA's gimmick but I would love to see it again in the WWE

Come on an evil clown that terrorizes everyone and plays mean pranks. Doink was pretty cool when he was evil and his music changed. I'm saying a big mean demented clown.

I agree... I think someone like that could work in the modern era, as long as it was clear that they were nuts like The Joker rather than a 'real' clown.

The gimmick was great, but nobody could ever do it as well as Matt Bourne. He made that character work.

Yeah, you're not wrong... in hindsight, it's a great shame they never let Matt run with the evil clown. They turned him face and it was all downhill from there!

I'd forgotten about The Berzerker! Ha! Remember when he attacked Taker with his sword? The Headshrinkers were pretty cool in a 90s sort of way. Also, bring back Kamala!

Thing about Goldberg was, the vast majority of his opponents during his streak were jobbers. Plus he couldn't sell offense, and was so hilariously bad in the ring that it bordered on dangerous. This is the man who ended Bret Hart's career afterall.
Nonetheless, it was a very good angle for WCW. It seemed as if WWE were heading in this direction with Alberto Del Rio (a competent wrestler!) at first which would've been awesome..... until Mysterio the Ego refused to do the job. (yet a-fuckin-gain)

The original Doink (Matt Bourne?) modified the gimmick into a more Joker-style lately in the indies. There's a picture somewhere on the net.

chuck palumbo sucked at every possible degree
talk about trying to revive the undertaker's badass attitude
chuck was even pretending to be hanging around with michelle mccool the undertaker's current wife.
