Before anyone pipes up I certainly DO NOT wrestling (ever ever again!). But as either a manager or as a GM.

You have no other thoughts of your own about this?

I think Flair definitely has a place on WWE tv if it's in a manager role. He does have great experience that could help guide a young star or even a group of young stars, and he's obviously a good talker. I think it would be in WWE's best interest to use his skills to help younger stars.
But yeah, no wrestling please!

I'm currently undecided. I thing he'd bring a lot to the table, but I also think he could over shadow a lot of talent if he was a manager. I thought I'd hear other people's views first and then steal the good ones.

No, he carries to much baggage with him, I can see him walking around backstage demanding to be treated like a king...

Just an idea what if Richie Steamboat came up and was managed by his father Ricky Steamboat and later down the line turns on his father to have Flair as his manager making Flair and Richie heel. He can be like that Ricky was never as good as Ric Flair and that he was ashamed of his father (storyline) and wants the real man he idolized as a child to be his manager?

You could have very easily thrown this into your opening post. There's no excuse for waiting to be asked.

I think he will be brought back as the anonymous GM from years ago.

Managerial role, helping cement newer talent. That's about the limit of what I want to see from him these days.

Would be good as a manager to help an upcoming talent, but have to say even his promos suck pretty bad these days i think hes genuine gone senile. Remember watching him regularly on Nitro back in 1999 and even as late as then i think he was still the best in the biz on the mic, sad to see his decline.

But then you mod type fellas would have no purpose (on this board). Essentially my laziness keeps you busy and stops you from Googling tentacle porn or cookie recipes.

I think there is a place for Flair.. like others have said please no wrestling! but as a manager he still has a lot too give! Give him someone like Mason Ryan and let Flair be the voice! :)

You aren't allowed to be lazy. Only we can when we want to ;)

This for me. Although he could certainly work wonders as a manager i think the negatives out weigh the positives.

I hope he has a big role in wwe, it would give me a reason to watch it. This guy can still do the job and tell the story. I wish he could get one more run as WWE Champion. He is the man and will be till they bury the man. I cannot stand young fans that do not get it. The first order would be to put the punk who is going Whoooo in ICU. Not really, but that kid makes me sick.
Flair's matches against HHH and Mick Foley were the greatest and not that long ago. I hope he has a big role in any manner!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Of course he has a place on wwe tv. You know why? because as of now wwe currently has 4 hours of combined weekly tv time (and apparently 5 hrs here soon). They also have all their internet programs, several youtube shows, and there own f'n network coming out soon. Of course they have a spot for him! As opposed to the total two hours of television time tna has (in which they waste at least a half hour on Hogan. smh). IMO, Flair always knew he would end his career in the wwe. The tna universe is just too small for a legend and ego of his size. We'll see him back on wwe soon enough...
