Please allow me to.........wait what?
Anyways, crappy joke aside, I was just wondering what you guys thought of JBL? Personally, I loved the guy.(no homo you immature pricks :P) He drew MASSIVE heat, cut some of the best promos ever, was great on commentary and a fantastic worker in the ring. No matter what he did, people hated him. No one felt sorry for him when he "quit". Not a shred of sympathy. Only guys like JBL can make that kind of impact on people; making them forget that he doesn't act this way in real life. IMO, JBL and heel HHH were the most entertaining heels I've seen in the WWE in the past couple of years. This guy seriously needs to come back as either RAW GM or ringside announcer.

Thoughts? Complaints? Opinions? U MADD? Issues?

I loved JBL, and thought the match he had with Rey Mysterio a few years back to see who left WWE was one of the best matches ever. I think he still had some more good years in him, but I also respect the fact that he got out rather than try to stay around too long. It's a shame he didn't hang around as a commentator, though.

JBL was great! I feel he should have been bigger, ecspecially in the pre-cena era, but probably because Evolution was around this couldn't happen.
He didn't do fancy moves, just bodyslams, punches, throwin the smaller guys (ecspecially Mysterio) and a Clothesline from Hell, but made it look like he acyually hurt them!

And as a commentator....

Yes, JBL was the heel that you loved to hate. The "wrestling god" is one of those rare exceptions that doesn't need the WWE. Who knew before it was publicly acknowledged that he was a wall street genius?

His harassing of illegal immigrants at the Mexico border was one of the funniest things I have ever seen in wrestling. Also loved his drunken promo at the first ECW One Night Stand.

It's a damn shame he's not still behind the commentary table.

JBL was great no matter how you look at it.Great worker and did it on some of the worst knees this side of Kevin Nash.People should not forget the work he and Ron Simmons did as APA(they were better than 3D any day of the week in my book),A wrestler's wrestler.

Please allow me to give my infinite wisdom on this matter. KY jelly your about as funny as a prison rape, as for JBL is is sorely missing. (see what I did there I used KY jelly, prison rape and sorely in the same sentence) Not only is JBL funnier than me but he always kicked ass in the ring. From being in the APA to crashing his car into Cena he was simply one of the BEST and maybe just maybe he is a WRESTLING GOD. U MAD???

I almost forgot one important fact, he had the balls the size of grapefruits.

and he sure didn't like illegals.

JBL was fucking awesome, granted he had massive man boobs and wasn't the best wrestler. alot of ppl like to shit on his WWE title reign but thats what the WWE needed, a strong HEEL world champion. its a shame he lost the belt to Cena in like 11 minutes though...

JBL's the ultimate republican bully!!

Confident on the mic and stiff in the ring. He used to do this kick to the middle of the back that HAD to hurt! And the clothesline from hell has hurt more than a few in it's time.

A true and rare success story. Vince will push a wrestler how he see's the wrestler. Bradshaw is very much like Vince.it's no wonder he went so far in wwe.

Back to the bully thing. Does anyone remember invasion ppv during the awful A.P.A v Sean o'hare & chuck palumbo match. John nearly took chucks head off with the CLFH! What a welcoming to the WWF that was.

The Story of Joey Styles One-Punching him is probably my favorite memory of JBL.

JBL was just purely amazing, I remember soo many good memories of him unfortunently I only started watching wwe when the big show had a problem a some sort of feud between jbl and kurt angle jbl still had the basham brothers and orlando jordan so..around 2005 is when i started watching its, but i still had the opportunity to live many good jbl moments and its a damn shame he is no longer in the business...here's to a amazing performer such as a great commentator...gawd was he amazing as a commentator with michael cole...
Btw michael cole sux as the bad commentator.

Bradshaw is one of the best heels of all time, quite simply no one liked him - even smart fans didn't like him that shows you how over he was as a heel. He was great on the mic, in the ring he wrestled a good strong heel style that I always liked, and he had some good matches - the matches with Eddie, Cena, Taker. I think he fully deserved the title reign and I think he was one of the best champs since Rock, Austin left.

He also is geniune tough guy out of the ring (yes Joey Styles punched him but people miss out the fact that JBL was totally smashed and probably didn't know where he was or what was happening), if there had been a fight with no drink involved JBL would have whipped his ass within a second.

I always like JBL, whether he was Bradshaw or JBL. Personally I think his best years were 2000 - 2007. As Bradshaw he was a dominant huge face who loved to drink beer and fight, he won the Tag Titles, Hardcore & Euro titles. He was also got to feud with NWO. I think they were pushing him to be a high carder in late 2002 but he got injured and his push was held back till 2004.

I enjoyed him as JBL, I just think the whole cabinet angle made him look weak. I also think he did an excellent job as a commentator and I would love to see him be a full time Color Comentator. I didn't really enjoy his run from late 07-09, he was very sloppy and just wasn't the same, maybe it was WWE going PG but I don't know. I am glad he retired because I didn't wanna see him ruin his legacy. I do think he should have been pushed earlier, probably even in 2003 when he returned

That doesn't really prove anything they are just talking about it from what they have read yet they didn't mention alcohol was involved when it was...

Numerous sources at the time said that JBL had been drinking heavily that day, so by the time Joey punched him JBL was probably too drunk to do anything about it. Combined that JBL was being held back allowing Joey to get a shot in.

You really think a fully sober JBL and fully sober Joey Styles, and Joey would come out on top?!

Me too. I remember when they used to make people go through the door of their office when it didn't even have walls. <3 An JBL's clotheslines were so much more violent back then.

I used to always say JBL was world title material back in his Acolytes days. He is the personification of what can happen when you trust your wrestlers that might not be the most marquee at the moment. JBL went from mid-card meanie to one of the greatest champion heels in WWF/E history. He got such a huge negative pop every time he came out it was ridiculous. it worked so good they are rehashing his persona now with Alberto Del Rio. JBL cut great promos, he was sneaky, and he carried SmackDown when no one else could at the time.

I call b.s. on that statement. both of them were drinking based on what I'm hearing and both were being held back from each other, until they both broke away. That's when Styles laid a one hitter quitter on JBL. And yes, I fully think that is possible considering what I've seen personally. Styles always seemed like he had a little scrap in him to me anyway....
