Recapping the events that have passed at Victory Road was nice touch as it set up a lot of the things to come on tthe impact show starting with Dixie Carter needing to find a replacement for Sting after what transpired in his match with Roode.

Now we see a 5 week long points style tournament to who will have an opportunity to face Aries at Lockdown for the TNA X - Division Championship and immediately kick off the show with Shelley getting a big submission win ove Nese to earn 2 points and lead the pack on the hunt for the #1 contender's spot at Lockdown before he and Nese show respect for one another in an post match embrace. Very nice nice way to kick off the show.

We see the TNA World Heavyweight Champion enter the arena seemingly proud of his actions before Angle and Bischoff are seen in cahoots towards ensuring Hardy loses and fails at everything he does and may start tonight in his main event match up against Gunner.

A great singles match that derived from the tag team match that took place at Victory Road between Styles and Anderson vs Kazarian and Daniels. Kazarian almost had the match won but Anderson's resilience is enough for him out of Kazarian's pinning predicament before hitting a Mic Check for the win. Post match Daniels tries to get the upper hand on Anderson along with Kazarian but its Styles who makes the save and soon after Daniels is hit a Mic Check himself its Styles and Anderson who stand tall. I can expect to see Daniels vs Styles on the next Impact for sure.

The Knockout rejoice over Velvet Sky's big win which has led her to become the TNA Knockouts Champion. Nice little moment to great unity among the Knockouts. Not bad.

Interesting to see Bischoff's son would have Hardy's back.

Williams and Haskins go at it but in the end Williams hits the Rolling Chaos Theory is hit for the 1, 2, 3. Williams earns himself 2 points and is now neck and neck with Shelley. Very nice on the fact that Aries is just having a ball with tournament and shows it by simply enjoying a glass of wine and eating popcorn as the competition goes on, perfect heel display.

We see Joseph continue his search for Abyss, wonder where this search will lead to.

Here's my thing. Robbie E. and Robbie T. are my least favorite pairing and to see them win over the TNA Tag Team Champions was very surprising even the help of Crimson to do so. I feel Robbie E. should mainly focus on his TNA TV Championship making a title worth pursuing and Robbie T. should he continue his hunt for gold in the TNA Tag Team Championships based off this win here tonight would perhaps benefit in having another partner. This was the man made up the muscle in The British Invasion, World Elite even Immortal and he held the TNA TV (Global at the time) Championship at one time and should be taken more seriously as a competitor especially against teams such as Magnus and Joe and Morgan and Crimson should the actions of next week keep them together as tag team. This was a great way to put a big spotlight on the tag team division but it needs more. More tension, more of a personal feel and definitely more teams.

The Pope's House of Pimpin'? Somebody gonna get slapped xD

Gunner did not require the aid of Angle, Bischoff or any Immortal stable mate to secure one of the biggest wins of his career as he defeats Hardy here tonight. However post match tells a different stroy as he is soon joined by Immortal and they began a beat down on Hardy that even the aid of Garrett Bischoff was too much to overcome as Immortal stands tall. Very nice way to showcase Immortal has yet to die. Interesting to see where they go from here.

So Carter is gonna talk to the TNA Agents about a replacement for Sting but Parks was listening in? Very interesting.

We end the night hearing from the TNA World Heavyweight Champion Bobby Roode as he speaks of believing he got rid of TNA's premiere bully Sting for good after he imposed his dominance and forced Sting to removed on a stretcher. He soon informs Carter that if anyone should be in charge of Impact it should be him. Soon comes James Storm and tell Roode he will pay the price at Lockdown as Sting did in Victory Road because in a steel there's nowhere to run and feels there truly should be a winner no bullshit and to ensure that Roode has to agree that if anyone interferes on his behalf he will lost the TNA World Heavyweight Championship.

Roode replies that Storm needs to come back to reality and realize he's not that good and when they a part of Beer Money Inc. Roode was the talent that carried them to success and no matter the stipulations he will win and Storm will feel just as he did when Roode broke the beer bottle over his head something Storm has a chance to repay him for as he soon smashes his own beer bottle over Roode's head and drives the crowd wild and he stands tall over a fallen Roode while lifting the TNA World Heavyweight Championship. Truly this earns The Highlight of the Night from me.

Overall, My thing is think outside of the box for a few situations that dont necessarily follow the guidelines of what TNA has done so far and this should turn out quite the Be the Booker story to follow by many. You got good feuds, good promos and overall good effort so you are off to a great start. Well done bro :D

Here comes the No.1 Contender with the long black coat and trademark hat on. He raises his beer and the pyro bursts, Storm comes down the ramp, yells Next world champ baby into the camera, storm rolls into the ring, no time for Ring introductions as this one is underway

Main Event: First Blood Match: “Cowboy” James Storm vs Gunner
Finish: Storm and Gunner trade punches on the stage, Storm swings a clothesline at Gunner, who ducks and delivers a huge belly to belly Suplex, Storms spine almost shattered, Eric claps Gunner. Gunner whips Storm into the apron. Gunner pushes Storm into the ring, Gunner motions to Bischoff and turns around Last Call Superkick! Gunner is out. Bischoff gets up on the apron and shouts at Hogan, but Garrett runs down from the back and pulls Bischoff off the apron, Garrett threatens to punch Eric, now here comes Bully Ray who knocks down Garrett he tears of his shirt and gives him a SICK! Chop!
Hogan gets out the ring and gets in the face of Bully. The referee is trying to get order, Bobby Roode! Bobby Roode jumps the rail gets Storms beer and smashes it over his head! Storm is bleeding. The referee turns round and this one is over!

Winner: Gunner
- 21:56

Eric Bischoff gets in the face of Hulk, the two argue. Gunner and Ray beat on Garrett, Hogan tries to stop it, but Gunner knocks Hulk down. Roode slips back in the ring and starts beating on Storm before laying him out with the title belt. Out comes Hardy to save Garrett but Scott Steiner, Daniels and Kazarian are here to join Bully Ray and Gunner Hardy and Garrett are having the crap beaten out of them! AJ Styles and Mr Anderson are here, they run out with lead pipes and clear house, Hulk Hogan is back up and is throwing punches.

We begin really here with Dixie Carter in the back when Eric Bischoff approaches her with Gunner at his side before Bischoff sarcastically asks Carter how she is doing and states that if Carter is looking for a man who can replace Sting she needs a man who knows how to run a show and knows how to get ratings before Carter interjects and jokes that Bischoff might know of a man like that he should contact her. Bischoff says Carter can joke all she wants but what is she going to do when the network executives and sponsor start asking:“What are you doing about Sting?” when she knows there is only one man qualified for the job......Him.

However Hulk Hogan comes into the scene and says needs to cut the bullsh*t and says Carter knows what Bischoff is all about and she shouldn't be buying into what he says so its time to hit the road jack before addressing that if they thought they accomplished anything by laying Garrett out last week he has some news and that's that Garrett is back tonight. Words that cut right through Bischoff almost as if Hogan spit right in his face before Carter tells Gunner that he better keep an eye out because the special enforcer for his first blood match against James Storm is the one and only Hulk Hogan! A fantastic start that alluded to Hulk Hogan having fallen on Carter's good graces and may lead to him becoming the new authority figure of TNA in lieu of Sting.

Nese and Haskins face off and both men get back to their feet some very intense action they trade punches back and forth before Haskins hits a kick to the gut to Nese. Haskins soon whips Nese into the corner attempting to charge at him but Nese moves out of the way in the nick of time driving Haskins into the ring-post allowing Nese puts Haskins on the top rope and hits a BIG Spider German Suplex for the 1, 2, 3! Giving Nese 2 points in the X - Division Championship Double Tier Tournament to determine a No.1 Contenders fot Aries at Lockdown. Nese and Haskins shake hands out of respect for the competite spirit of the X-Division. A fantastic way to kick off the show.

We now see Mexican America as Sarita and Rosita are talking furiously while Hernandez and Anarquia pose in the background. In the ring soon Sarita calls out ODB calling ODB a dog and challenges ODB to a match tonight. Great way to give the Knockouts some exposure.

“The Pope” soon returns to TNA with the House of Pimpin’ so What exactly does this mean for TNA? We'll find out soon enough.

Sarita comes to the ring alongside Mexican America as they all accompany her to the ring as they do their signature pose on the top of the ramp before ODB heads to the ring herself alongside her Co-Knockout Tag Team Champion, Young and their energy is booming as ODB does her “Bam!” pose at the top of the ramp as the Pyro make Young jump as ODB rolls into the ring and Young points at Earl Hebner signaling its time to get this underway.

The combined effots of Mexican America pay off as ODB makes comeback near the end before Rosita trips her up and Young runs around the apron to get in her face but Anarquia attacks him from behind distracting Hebner to yell at Anarquia allowing Hernandez to slide into the ring and hits a body block on ODB and have Sarita get the 1,2,3. Great unison and numbers game allow Mexican America to sneak a big win here tonight.

We get word that an official announcement involving Sky as she will defend the TNA Knockouts Championship in Nashville, Tennessee against former champion Kim inside a Steel Cage. That match will show how strong the Knockouts have become and perhaps for the third time ever (to my mind) main event an Impact Show.

We go backstage where we see Parks approach Carter telling her that he’s looking for Chris....Abyss. Carter expresses that she didn’t even know Abyss had a brother saying she is sorry that she hasn’t heard from Abyss and Parks thanks her for her time anyway. Before stating that he couldn’t help but overhear last week about not having a replacement for Sting and asks how the search is that going? Carter its up to the TNA Agents to find a replacement until then Carter is in charge and as Parks goes to leave he lets Carter know that if there is anything he can do, all she needs to do is ask. Parks may have ulterior motives for wanting to help Carter so I'll be keeping my eye on him.

The TNA Tag Team Champions Joe and Magnus are set to defend the gold against Robbie E and Robbie T and the end draws near its Magnus sets up Robbie E for a sidewalk slam until Robbie T comes in and stops Magnus. Robbie E proceeds to beat on Magnus before Joe comes in ducks under a clothesline attempt from Robbie T as Joe sends Robbie E over the top rope but pays dearly for it as he takes a kick to the gut from Robbie T who whips Joe into the corner and charges at him however Joe is quick to move and Robbie is set for Joe to hit his Back splash followed by the trademark kick snapnere takedown and send Robbie T. right into an elbow from Magnus for the 1, 2, 3 to declare Joe and Magnus as winners and Still TNA Tag Team Champions as they hold their championships proudly.

However Crimson appears on the ramp wearing street clothes in the form of torn jeans and a zipped up leather jacket with the words “Death before Dishonor” across his chest with a mic in hand and applauds for the TNA Tag Team Champions claiming that was an impressive win and states of having spoken not too long with Carter and she agrees the situation between themselves needs a resolution and at Lockdown inside the Steel Cage it will be Crimson and Matt Morgan vs Magnus and Samoa Joe for the TNA Tag Team Championship in an Elimination Tag Team Match. Cue Morgan arriving in the scene driving the crowd wild as appears on the stage and talks to Crimson and motioning for Crimson to come to the back with him but Crimson refuses and expresses it by shaking his head until Morgan has to slap the mic out of Crimson's hand and charges to the back as Crimson follows. Great match for Lockdown and tension between Crimson and Morgan is boiling up rapidly and I have a feeling it explode ery soon.

We see Bischoff talking to Snow in the back. Trying to persuade the agents to choose im, smart move on Bischoff's part.

Another X - Division Championship Double Tier Tournament Match to determine a No.1 Contender takes place as Ion faces Williams near the end has Ion measured for the Rolling Chaos Theory until Ion hits him with a nasty elbow shot and appears to have genuinely cut Williams' nose wide open and goes for it all by hitting a Shining Wizard but Williams kicks out before making a comeback as he hits Ion with some heavy shots followed by a belly to belly followed by Williams going up to the top rope and went for Bomb Scare Knee Drop but Ion sees this and moves as Williams' knee hits the mat with such force that it leaves him motionless and ready for Ion to hit an Asai Moonsault on Williams for the 1,2,3 giving Ion 2 points. Creating a 4 way tie for the lead to who will win it all and face and Aries at Lockdown. I'm pulling for Shelley and Williams myself.

Hardy is backstage saying he doesn’t like Roode calling him a fake and a cheat and he supports Storm just like everyone else in Impact Wrestling when they want to see Storm winning the TNA World Heavyweight Championship at Lockdown! Hardy soon calls upon his creatures to see if they want to see Storm win at Lockdown and they cheer in agreement before Hardy says that tonight he is making sure that Roode won’t be in the right state of mind for cheating or scheming at Lockdown. Great words from Hardy.

The TNA World Heavyweight Champion Roode goes toe to toe with Hardy in a war even the Roode's Spinebuster and Hardy's Whisper in the Wind amount to just 2 counts for both men but it is Hardy who gets in trouble as he goes for Twist of Fate only for Roode to counter it into Crossface. Hardy does tries to roll over but Roode keeps the submission locked in even as Hardy pulls himself to the ropes however Roode rolls him back to the middle of the ring cinching the move with even more pressure increasing the pain but Hardy pushes himself up almost lifting Roode of the mat but Roode uses this to his advantage and switch submissions and lock in the Fujiwawa Armbar leaving Hardy no choice but to tap out and declare the TNA World Heavyweight Champion Roode the victor here tonight. A great show of skills and knowledge on the part of Roode that show why he is in fact the champion as he celebrates by holding his title over his head.

Roode soon gets the mic saying that is how vicious the It Factor can be and last week's events change nothing and he is still in control even when Storm thought he achieved something by smashing the bottle over his head instead he proved to the world that he is nothing but a cheap bar fighter and at Lockdown, it will be a fight that Roode guarantees victory on. Outstanding promo from Roode, great job.

Backstage we see A TNA camera Man see an open door at the end of a corridor to the left and upon pushing the door open we see Snow, Kenney and Brown laid out on the floor and the room being smashed to pieces as Snow is on the floor in a pool of blood while Kenney and Brown are facing down and the onyl thing that stands out among this this carnage in the middle of the room is a Baseball Bat!!! This is a mystery indeed.

Now its time for the Main Event as Hogan heads to the ring to be the special enforcer in this First Blood Match between Storm and Gunner. Gunner heads out accompanied by Bischoff while Storm in the only way a No.1 Contender like himself should as he wears his infamous long black coat and trademark hat raising a beer up high to ignite the pyro as Storm comes down the ramp yelling that he will be the Next world champion baby into a camera.

This match was awesome as Storm and Gunner trade blows on the stage before Storm tries to hit a clothesline on Gunner but Gunner ducks it and delivers a huge belly to belly Suplex and Storm's spine almost shattered something Bischoff approves of as he claps for Gunner. Gunner soon whips Storm into the apron. Gunner pushes Storm into the ring but as Gunner motions something to Bischoff he allows Storm to recover and deliver the Last Call Superkick effectively knocking Gunner out. Bischoff tries to prevent more damage from happening as he gets up on the apron shouting at Hogan but his son Garrett rushes down from the back and pulls Bischoff off the apron before threatening to punch his own father until Bully Ray comes out and knocks down Garrett even tearing off his shirt and hitting a SICK! Chop on Garrett's chest but Hogan soon gets into the face of Bully Ray all while the referee desperately tries to get things in order. Roode sees this as his chance to jump the rail and grab Storm's beer bottle and smashes it over his head causing Storm to bleed profusely and thus The referee calls for this match to be over giving Gunner consecutive main event victories signaling great things for Gunner's future.

Postmatch Bischoff gets into Hogan's face and the two argue while Gunner and Bully Ray proceed to beat the hell out of Garrett, Hogan does try to stop it but Gunner knocks Hogan down. Roode now slips back into the ring and starts a beating on Storm before laying him out with the championship belt before Hardy makes the save for Garrett but its Steiner, Daniels and Kazarian who join Bully Ray and Gunner in having Hardy and Garrett have the crap beaten out of them! Until Styles and Anderson are there with lead pipes to clean house as Hogan recovers and begins throwing punches at the enemies before him as total chaos continues as Impact goes of the air.

Overall the Tournament to to determine a No.1 Contender for Aries at Lockdown is heating as are many many feuds and some very interesting segment took place and Morgan and Crimson can seem to be at peace with one another while I missed the House of Pimpin' being tonight or it being promoted next week I really hope soon that takes place as I really look forward to that.

Great follow up to the first show and the next one should be a great one.
