View Full Version : Early RR speculation

Shall we start speculations on the Rumble early?

Any thoughts on the surprise entrant (the big one, not the 3-4 Legends they usually tease us with.) or the Winner?

The winner, for me, I think is too soon to say, but since it's for the WM main event spot, I'll wager a guess to say Orton to try to take the belt off Bryan. (or as a really out there guess, Taker will make a shocking return as #40!) I do think the winner will be someone after the WHC title though. (Could be something to do with Punk will be a little busy elsewhere lol)

The surprise entry however .... 1/2/12 aside...

Jericho? (likely)
JoMo? (possible!)
Taker? (doubtful)
Clay? (who knows)
Kevin Nash? (please, no, just... no)
Batista? (he's been strangely vocal about the 'E lately...)
aaaaand just to be really out there...
Warrior! (can't lie, I would lose my mind over it!)
Goldberg? (I'm serious, bro!)

So, any thoughts?

Warrior???

Don't hate the Warrior now! It ain't nice to make girls cry!

LOL Been a fan since I was a kid, I know he's crazy, I know he's an attention whore, I know he botched matches. But he made childhood worthwhile! And to me he's epic and legendary just on his entrances alone!

I have gut feeling that Orton will win the Rumble... He's been having second tier feuds for a while now, so it's just a matter of time before they put him back in the title picture.
My personal pick for a rumble win would be Christian, Cody or Kane.

The WWE has already decided on a RR winner. and it's only 30 participants this year.

So do I... It is in his home town aswell, which usually counts for something. I would like to see Barret win it though.

I hadn't even caught that it was in his hometown, but that just makes me even more sure that he will win... sigh...

The winner will be the last one standing in the ring after all others have been eliminated.

Barrett or sheamus are going to win, but for some reason I think the undertaker is gonna come back as a heel

My money is on Sheamus to win RR. Mick Foley to be a suprise entrant.

I would mark harder for that then anything that has ever happened but the best I can see for goldust is him coming out and eliminating cody and himself as they fight to the back.

With the way WWE have been booking Punk lately, coupled with the fact that the Rock's appearance didn't add that many buys to this years Survivor Series, compared to last years I think Rock v Cena could be for the WWE title. So we could see Cena win the title befor WM and Rock win the Rumble. Food for thought.

Who do you think will be the final four?

Orton, Barrett, John Cena, Kane.

That is if they are all in it!

I was expecting Kane vs. Cena so I'm not sure if they'll be in it.

What about a surprise entrance from Lesnar?

Inclusion in WWE'12, the main UFC dude (i forget his name )
saying he wouldn't be averse to him returning to WWE.

Could happen!?

What happened to the days people competed in the Rumble and had a match!!!! It could happen! Would the WWE leave Cena out of a Rumble?

On today's edition of WWE Superstars, Matt Striker announced that, in a first for WWE, everyone who has a match at the upcoming Royal Rumble pay-per-view event will still be eligible to compete in the 30-Man Royal Rumble Match. This could also include the WWE & World Heavyweight Champions, but that has not been specified as of yet.
